Cooking

Yes!! Yes! A thousand times yes!! But it equally turns me on for him to clean up the kitchen after I've cooked. Or for us to cook together.

That is good to know. I can cook and am good at clean up. I can even wear an apron.

If he is a good cook, otherwise I would rather cook but it turns me on even more if he does the dishes!

Never thought about it actually cause, besides soup once in a blue moon, he's only ever made 1 or 2 legitimate dinners in 7 years. Lol. But I suppose yes, yes it did. Lol.

Matter of fact he is making me a corned beef and swiss omlet as we speak..:D

I have long believed that who cooks does not do the dishes, except when I am cooking for a woman in which case I cook and clean so she can enjoy the meal.

Wow! Who knew? Cooking is better than flowers and chocolates for getting you laid. Save your money on flowers and jewlery guys. Learn to make great osso bucco and she'll probably end up sucking your "osso" with her "bucco". :)

Yeah. I always clean up the kitchen afterwards. It can be a pain but it is something that needs to be done. I also make coffee.

mmmmmmmm

Well with one browneyed eye -a nod to Sereneone - I go grocery shopping, I can Broil fish in the oven, "Invent" a nice topping/marinade for the fish depending what it is, Bake most things and can cook over coals anything from chicken, fish to burgers to veggies on a wood skewer and a pretty good steak.

Make good coffee of course and yes yes yes ... clean up afterwards.

Ladies, does it turn you on to have a man cook for you?

Yes it is a very big turn on......even more so because I don't like to cook....I love to bake, so a man who can and likes to cook is a very big turn on....:D

# If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake, baked a cake, baked a cake #

He's driving me crazy today.... He's preping entrees for the week..... Smoked tri-tip for today's dinner and lunches for the rest of the week..... And hanging from the chimney of the brick smoker are three or four ropes of home made sausages for tomorrow's dinner and breakfasts for the rest of the week........ Yeah, I am so, so spoiled that way.....

Well this thread is encouraging and a bit of an ego boost, since I do love to cook, and am quite efficient with the cleaning as well. One should finish what one starts, after all, and that goes for more than just cooking.

Not meaning to go too far off topic but isn't it just as endearing when a man simply tries?

I mean there have a few times when my guy has tried something new and it just turns out all wrong. Something about that moment when we each take a bite and try to keep a straight face, but it tastes awful. So we end up with plain sandwiches or ordering a pizza.

So for all those guys reading this thread, the charm and romance is in the effort. And the ability to laugh at yourself if it doesn't turn out quite right. ;)

Good Luck!

I agree !

Lol. You are more than welcome, sweetie. If you want, I have a bunch of easy peasy recipes. Feel free to pm me.

I am more of a baker than a cook, so I have to keep it simple. ;)
