No, it is a word. Please orientate yourself toward the pages of the Oxford English Dictionary.

I beg to differ.

what I want to know is...what's a keddle?

keddle (n.) -

a. A dam, weir, or barrier in a river, having an opening in it fitted with nets or other appliances for catching fish. b. An arrangement of stake-nets on the sea-beach for the same purpose.
The word is chiefly found in some early statutes (Latin and Anglo-French) and in later references to these: there is no clear evidence that it was actually current in sense a later than c1550.

Were you axing me a question?

And not to forget:
liberry
Febbawary
acrost
bedroom suit

And here I always wondered about that fine kettle of fish
It was the catch of the day, not dinner cooking

maybe she needs to go in the ring....with major tom and the others....

I don't care if it's a word or not. Things like that just aren't worth getting worked up over. It's easier for me to just let people be who they are and accept them. That's what makes us all different.

The worst one is funner...
I cringe when I hear that word come out of people's mouths...
