Ken! How are ya? Fucking cunt.
Quite a bit more mentally and emotionally stable than you. I hope to God there are checks and balances in place to prevent this from happening.

I completely understand what you're saying but depending on her age, she will have/make friends, find extracurricular activities and whatnot. If she wants your attention there is a reason. She doesn't need a faux sibling.
She thinks I'm her mum oi.
It's not about extra curricular activities, it's about where she's going and if she's going to be good in that situation.
I don't know and it scares me.

You do know that situations aren't static, you can change them as needed. One option doesn't work you can try another.
I know you will be fine.
So no booze then?
Fuck.
You know I will be a completely different person now?
Kids.

No, if you want to 'hate rape' me, get in line.
In moderation, missy, moderation.
I don't hate you. I just wouldn't entrust a child's safety and wellbeing to you. And you know I am right.
Listen up, Crusoe!
Friday is not your friend.

*blink*
I want to come all over your blinking eyelashes.
Does that make me a bad mum?
We the enlightened north/western hemisphere dwellers that don't sleep with their bro's generally use the term mum as a command for silence.
I'm going with that.

some random advice.
you are going to need legal papers and documents. everything needed to get the kiddo checked into school, take her to the doctor, travel. medical consent forms from her parents/guardians for you to get any treatment for her. i don't know if you would need a notary there or not. keep all of her important information in a binder. keep all school records and medical records together.
talk to the school counselor about getting her into therapy. you'll probably want to see if you can attend a few sessions. call it something like transition therapy, to help with the move.
someone needs to be with her between the time school is out and you are home - depending on her age and needs. there's a lot of kids out there and lots of options.
talk to her parents or legal guardians and possibly talk to an attorney. you know what's going on there. you do not want kidnapping charges or harboring runaway charges. i always think worst case scenario. it's a habit.
yes. you drink less and then you drink more and then you drink less again. you wake up earlier in the morning, wash more laundry than you ever thought imaginable, do homework again, become a taxi cab. your life changes forever. that's not always a bad thing.![]()
Having just kissed the boy good night and throwing in another load of laundry and putting away the clean dishes while trying to understand several voice mails from very recently begrieved, I'd agree.
