Controversial topic!!!!!!!!!!

Did you get one of those cute little corset type back braces?

A friend of mine cracked some vertebra in a car wreck and had to wear one of those things. She said it was the first time she actually had cleavage. Of course her favorite t-shirt said "In case of Rape, this side up" on the front. With her sense of humor she usually wore it backwards. Or maybe she was just making a sexual statement.

No no I did not, I'd actually have SUFFOCATED on my cleavage if that were the case. No they generally just dope me up and say "Go back to work"

Hmmmm. Where can I get me one of those? :p

And I like that t-shirt. I'm going to have to make one for myself!

Medical supply stores have such interesting and kinky stuff to play with. ;) :D

Which way are you going to wear it, is the burning question.

i guess carrying a 50lb. pack across the Cascades is out of the question huh?

and I like the sticker too.

The Fiance bought it and stuck it on my car while I was getting my tat done on my birthday last year lol. I also have one that says

"If vodka was water and I was a duck, I'd swim to the bottom and never come up. But Vodka's not water and I'm not a duck, so slide me that bottle and shut the fuck up."

That one is NOT on my car.

Sweetheart, I need all the help on the front end I can get.

<hugs back> I'd prefer to not be medicated at all, but it's actually essential to maintaining my life lol

I know, well I dont actually know, but I assume youve talked to a herbalist or acupuncture person? Maybe a Shaman could help you.

Being off my meds for any length of time causes freak outs, it's not good. We tried it for a month and it was... I don't honestly remember it... but I've been told it wasn't good

I am in the same boat. We do know some naturopaths and they won't touch the problem I have (Hypothyroidism). There simply isn't something of the same level to replace the missing T3 hormone I'm missing.

Sometimes, it has to be, so I've taken the other philosophical road with it...better living through chemistry!

And really, in the end, if it makes me a happier person for my family and allows me to do and be what I want to do and be, I'll take it. Especially having dealt with the alternative.

<hugs> I agree. We did the holistic thing a few years ago. It wasn't effective. Even the herbalist told me to get back on my meds

{presents a Report of Experts on the subject of chemistry and holistic medicine. The conclusion, at the end of Volume 12, translate roughly to "keep taking the tablets". }
