I probably shouldn't reply to this at this point since the competition isn't over yet, but I just got back after some time away and I just had to say something here...

All the images I used to create #3 are photos that were taken by me with the exception of the eye photo which was taken by my good friend supahspaz and emailed to me. So none are stock photos. I do thank you for the compliment that they are of stock photo quality.

I don't understand what you meant by "walleyed". The distortion I think you are referring to is something that I did on purpose when I took the background photo in an old civil war fort near where I live. It was very dark and the light shining through the windows at the end of the hall made it look spooky to me. That was intentional on my part. The fact that Lit limits our posting size has a lot to do with not being able to see as clearly in this size as you can in the original.

I will be happy to show all the images that I used to create the final piece when the competition is over.

What I said was rotten. It was uncalled for. Chalk it up to feeling very lonely, unable to sleep, with my husband out of town, no one to talk to no sense of reason, several glasses of wine, and dissapointment that my entry bombed. lame. I know.

I feel like a shit, because I was a shit. Except that it's been read and now quoted a bunch of times I wish both my post and I could dissapear.

I said I was sorry. I sincerely meant it.

I really like the window panes within the window panes.
It's amusing to see the eye in more than one entry.

As for anonymous work.

I can tell by the style alone, and I'm very likely not the only one.

I gave my vote to nr. 9, because I find the fragile imagery touching somehow.

I'd also like to thank all my fellow artists who participated without you all this wouldn't have been half as fun and DG, thanks for the word. I already told you how much I enjoyed going "window" shopping.

Second, sorries I'm late. Was in school and now about to head off to work. My life's too busy anyone want to switch and be me for a week?

Third, I've been debating about a word since I heard that I won. It has been rainy all morning and I came home soaked.....so, the sceret ingredient for contest III is "wet".

Well, thank you I really just sent it in because the theme was Windows and I had it.. It's a few years old, taken with a very crappy old digital camera. What I find interesting is that the window turned gold with the negative option turned on, considering it's a white window frame.
