Here are the rules for the last place competition:

Order for coming last:

Lowest voted rating for a genuine attempt at a story multiplied by number of votes if less than 25 divided by 25.

So - if rating is 3.00 but only 12 votes the score would be

3.00 x 12 / 25 = 1.44

If rating is 3.00 but more than 25 votes, the rating stays the same.

I suggest ignoring number of reads except as a tie breaker when least number of reads would *win*.

The Rules are in the first post in this thread. My scores today place my stories in the also-rans although two jumped when trolls were eliminated.

Now if my sonnet had been allowed in - 4.73 * 11 / 25 = 2.08!

I am very pleased with the PCs on my stories. Thank you to all those who commented.

I am also happy with the ratings, the number of votes, and the viewing figures. My first ever incest story has more votes than I have ever had on a story and a massive number of views.

I feel justified in encouraging people to take part because it gives all the contenders more exposure over a longer time than the 'New' lists.

Perhaps he didn't plead for votes shamelessly? Or was it the title?

Those who voted obviously liked the story. Seven more votes and he might have been contending for the top spot, not the bottom.
