Some conspiracy theories catch me eye enough to read about every once in awhile just for shits and giggles: Kennedy’s assassination, the Bermuda Triangle, and Area 51. There are others that are noteworthy but, generally speaking, I’m not one to buy into conspiracy theories beyond what they are.

I avoid reading anything about the fake moon landing and flat earth stuff as well. Now, the Illuminati, Amelia Earhart’s disappearance, and the Philadelphia experiment arouse my interest from time to time.

It's basically impossible to enter Area 51. It's only slightly less impossible to see it. The top-secret military base is smack in the middle of the Nevada desert, in a dried-out lake bed surrounded by mountains. The closest peaks are heavily guarded so no one can spy on the activity below. There's just one mountaintop where you can catch a glimpse of the goings-on at the base: Tikaboo Peak, the closest you can legally get to Area 51.

That point is 26 miles away. Get too close and they have the authority to shoot you.

On July 5, FBI Director James Comey announced that he was not going to recommend the filing of criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server. Comey said there was insufficient evidence to show Clinton had malicious intent. Comey reasoned:

Section 793(f) makes it a felony for any person “entrusted with… information relating to the national defense” to allow that information to be “removed from its proper place of custody” through “gross negligence.” On its face, the law does not appear to require intent, but it turns out the key phrase in 793(f) is not “gross negligence.” The key phrase is “related to the national defense.”

Section 793(f) is a subsection of the Espionage Act, a controversial statute enacted during World War I in order to combat efforts by German agents to undermine the American war effort. The Act has been amended and renumbered many times, but its core provisions have not substantively changed. The Espionage Act has only sparingly been used to file criminal charges, but when it has been used it is often in high-profile cases. Eugene Debs was jailed under the Espionage Act for anti-war activities during World War I. The Rosenbergs were charged under the Espionage Act when they sold nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union. More recently, both Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden were charged under the Espionage Act for providing classified material to WikiLeaks.

The law has been controversial since its inception and prosecutions under the Act have been challenged as unconstitutional in several instances.

Now, hey - I don't know why you decided to post a question like this but you know, since there HAPPEN TO BE people not a hundred miles from right here, who were on the inside of how ANY of that fanciful Russia nonsense 'came out' in the first place (IE, 'they' have access to just about anything that ever was ever ever said or SMS'd across a mobile phone, including Jay-Z's phone... ...lol) then yeah, if you really wanna know... ...some 'conspiracy theories' ARE indeed reflective of stark reality.

Trouble is though, prolly you and I both know which ones they are. Unless you're just some individual with a raw intuitive capability, who just plain ACCIDENTALLY went down this subject path. RIGHT AT THIS VERY MOMENT!
