Little background first
When i was 22ish i had just gotten out of rehab maybe my third time (i am 33 now) i had been addicted to cocaine for about 6 or 7 years. I think my mom told some of the family at the time about my problems. I had a job interview at marshals
I stopped at my grandmother's apartment to drop off some keys and my uncle was there. This uncle was so good to me growing up. He was more like a father figure then anyone in my life. Anyway we talked a bit and he offered me a ride to marshals which was a 30 minute bus ride for me.
(I did have a car but it was a huge pos and had brake problems)
In the way to marshals we talked about a lot if things .. he kept saying he wanted to help me etc etc said things like benefactor and someone to look out for me. Take care of me.
When we were almost there he said something like. What if i had this great easy way you could make some money but i never told you because i was afraid you would say no or tell anyone.. of course your free to say no but you just have to keep it to yourself.
I curiously asked how much money and he went into this whole blurb about me working at marshals and working 25 hours a week at minimum wage and that after taxes i would being home between 75 and 120 a week. His way i could make 500 and only work a few hours.
So after talking he said he had a lingerie fetish and wanted to dress me up and have me pose for him and after we could get in the bed and "do our thing" i told him we cant do that and i assured him it would stay between us.
A few months later he made the offer again. But this time he said think about it. Dont say yes or no. If i hear from you great if not thats ok but remember the door is always open.
A couple months later my car got towed in Manhattan for unpaid parking tickets. And it was like 700 to get it out of impound and every 24 hours it was another 90 dollars for storage.
I doubted the car was even worth 700 dollars but with storage fees multiplying i called my uncle.

So... Good alcohol men! Tell me a good Vodka that I can enjoy.. I really want my fruity drinks. But Diabetes tells me to behave too damn often.
I mostly drink Vodka with flavored seltzers. But I feel like I'd enjoy that more with a good Vodka.

So... Good alcohol men! Tell me a good Vodka that I can enjoy.. I really want my fruity drinks. But Diabetes tells me to behave too damn often.
I mostly drink Vodka with flavored seltzers. But I feel like I'd enjoy that more with a good Vodka.
Mmmm . . .you want something good, but not so good that it's a waste to drink with mixers. I'd say give Tito's a try. See if that makes your drink more enjoyable. It might or might not, you'll be the judge

And if I wanted to try it straight, what do you recommend? Normally I don't like straight alcohol because I'm too cheap to spend the money on it in case I don't like it. But honestly I would love to find something that I did like straight.

Agree with AF on Tito's. I dont drink vodka but I would say 80% of vodka drinkers I know have made that their go to vodka. If you have a Costco that sells booze near you, their Kirkland brand vodka is Grey Goose and it's half the price. Grey Goose is the other vodka I know that people who drink it chilled or on the rocks, will only drink that vodka.
