There's a grocery store here that sells the BEST rotisserie chickens in the city. And I'm addicted to them. It's as bad as ordering pizza every Friday night. They have Lemon Pepper, BBQ, Cajun and several other seasonings.

I remember a thread Sparky posted a long time ago about him buying one in NYC and eating the entire one before belching and passing out on the Shebabe. lol... I understand the temptation.

If I put a stick up my ass and twirl will you be addicted to me?;)

Depends on how juicy your thighs are.. I'm a sucker for the drumsticks, y'know. And, you'd have to be covered in Lemon Pepper seasoning, I hope you don't mind that sugarpie.

I set it and forget it all the time. I thought it was healthy?? Fat drips off, don't eat the skin anyway. Good for you!

healthy? Good Lord how could it be healthy? When I eat one little piece, my hand is coated in grease! lol, that's what makes it so good.

I'm gonna have a heart attack before I'm 40 aren't I? Does it count that I eat fresh veggies as a side item? huh? huh?

I love it too, Vixen. I've even contimplated buying one of those little rotisserie ovens for the home.

Yummy.

my parents have one, they cook everything on it. It's very tasty.

There are 2 places down here where they have the best rotisserie chicken , one is a supermarket and the other is a little bar b que stand.

You have to get there on time though , cause there are times they totally run out !!!

Mmmmm ...... good !

Have one. LOVE it. You can cook anything in there! Totally worth the price if you like to cook.
I recommend the Ron Popeal.

ok, changing the subject a little.. but who has a George Foreman grill? Damn! Now those things are handy! They drain all the excess fat off of anything. Steak, pork chops, chicken, sausage.. and it just takes minutes. One question though.. how does Georgie promote this "less fat" appliance? I mean, he has to weigh in somewhere around 300#. wtf?

Hiya Vixen !!!

I have to confess I share your passion for rotisserie cooking. I have one of the vertial rotisserie ovens, and it does an incredible job on chicken, pork, and beef.

If you baste your meat with the right sauce, and cook to the right temperature, it's out of this world.

Bon Appetite

To quote a guy I saw on Comedy Central about Rotisserie:

"Let's kill the chicken, impale it, and then ROTATE it. an I'll be darned if I'm not hungry....cuz spinning chicken carcasses make my mouth water."
