i just recently turned 18 so i figured that i should take advantage of the site and start posting! Anyways, I just recently started having sex (first time was about 6 or 7 months ago)....I'm with a new girl now that is pretty experienced and i have been friends with her for a long time before we started going out....my question is, since she is disease free and takes a monthly birth control shot, is it okay to not use a condom or should I insist using one all the time with her?

1) You should edit that first bit, and just stick with "now that I'm 18, I thought I'd take advantage of the posting feature". Trust me, those are site rules.. there is no talking about underage pornography or sex, etc.

2) I've gotten pregnant on birth control. So, I would say that using both her birth control and a condom is a good idea. I'm currently on the shot, which means I don't get a period at all. But honey and I use a condom every time, just to be safe.

And how do you know she's disease free? Did you have her tested? Did you see the results in your hand? She might have something and not even know about it.

Trust me, WAY better to be safe than sorry.

My advice - get used to wearing a condom now, so it becomes part of your normal routine. You're 18, and you have plenty of girlfriends in your future. If you associate sex with condoms, then you will significantly reduce the chance of pregnancy or disease.

I have had too many friends that stopped using condoms when they got into serious relationships and relied solely on the Pill. Several of them are married now, because of the unexpected pregnancy.

Nah, I'm sure you'll be okay. But don't use that as an excuse to continue the condom-free life.

And it's pretty kick ass you found this place at 18. Lit can teach you techniques and expand your knowledge like few other things. Read a couple of stories with your girlfriend (you can even print them out and read them in bed together). Who knows what interesting adventures could result?

Great idea, EE! Have your girlfried purse her lips around the tip of the condom (around the reservoir tip), then slide her mouth down the shaft. If she can't do all the way down, she can use her thumb and pointer to slip it on the rest of the way. It's a cinch to master.
