I can remember the day I first heard Con de Partiro. I was visiting my Dads in Colorado about 16-17 years ago. Bored as hell. He was off fixing his tractor or something. I had come back from a long walk on his land was tired and decided to go through his music cd's. So I'm playing Harry Belafonte and Linda Rondstadt and come across this gem that I've never heard. I was immediately taken in. In fact, it was the first cd I ever made a copy of so I could take home.

Not only his voice, but the emotion he brings with it. The emotion he brings out of me. Not often do I find a voice that can do that no matter what he is singing about.
