"Someone might really die over this information."

That is a quote from a former official familiar with the information which the con artist passed along to his Russian handlers. The information originated from Israel who has a well placed spy withing the ISL ranks.

Or at least did. We don't know if that person is still alive or if they've been turned into dog meat because of the inept and all-but-criminal actions of the con artist. What is known is what has been conveyed by the former head of the Israeli Mossad: "We will think twice before conveying very sensitive information."

“The real risk is not just this source,” said Matt Olsen, the former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center and an ABC News contributor, “but future sources of information about plots against us.”

But not to worry, Israel will still come hat in hand begging the U.S. taxpayer for over $8 billion in "aid" for their poor, defenseless country even while holding back information which may prevent another large scale terror attack in this country. Similar to how their agents fled this country when questioned by police why they pre-positioned and recording when the planes flew into the Twin Towers.

So when that attack happens, you know who to thank.

Absolutely right, and that's the kicker here. Trump did it just to puff himself up with the Russians. But the basic information gathering problem in the Middle East for decades has been the inability to put information gatherers in place where they are needed. It's rare when it happens and it's very tenuous. To have someone in place at the base where laptop bombs are being developed as a new means of terrorism places an information source at extremely high risk. Knowing the location of the information collection and the intelligence agency that collected it goes a long way for the enemy to locate and snuff out the source.

Thank you clown Donald.

I'm glad it's the Israelis he burned, though, because they aren't nice about getting revenge. And he's going there soon (unless he gets cold feet about having to face what he's done).

That's why we were so screwed when Bush was lying about the need to invade and occupy Iraq. We had let our humit in the region go to near zero so all we had to rely on were sycophantic minions out to save their own necks.

But of course humit isn't needed in this day and age of satellites and wiretaps and computers so there's no problem.

Hopefully, a lot of people will get killed - members of ISIS, The Taliban and others of that ilk. And the Russians would not be as namby-pamby about it as we sometimes are.

Yes, but typical of you to miss the point completely. When your rare in-place agent is outed by some loudmouth Jackass (Cheney was the last one to do it), puff, there goes your in-place source of information--and your targets likely just change location.
