The file says divx codec which I have, so I dont know whats upNora said:Hey Laz? When you right click on the file and choose the tab in properties that doesn't say "general" (can't remember what it does say) Does it tell you what codec you're missing?
Failing that, try Nimo's codec. http://www.btinternet.com/~nimosiro/
or DivX 5.0 http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec5.html
You don't need the player, you just need it to install the codecs.
Either one should work.

When I opened it up in Real player it said that one of the streams is in an unsupported format. I guess its the audio stream.

I hate this shit. I suck at it. *thinking*
What program are you normally viewing AVIs in?
Nora said:Ugh. Ok. I'm gonna ask the geeks, I mean the programmers at work tomorrow. If I forget, just send me a PM. From what I'm seeing doing a search, the full version of Nimo's should work, but fuck if i know...there's a point at which it all goes beyond my incredibly limited knowledge.
