Computer role playing games

Has anyone played any of the adult role playing games, such as red light center, sex kitten, 3feel?
Are there any that anyone recommends?
I am interested in one that has a POV kind of feel to it, like the non-adult Mount & Blade.
Any reccomendations would be helpful

I've certainly not had any good experiences with it- granted the last time I tried anything like those games out was a few years ago, but it all feels frankly terrible in terms of quality / polish.

But, an this is only my opinion, Video games are not Role Play Games, they are video games.

A Role playing game is a completely dynamic interaction between real players where the out come of the game can change drasticly by pure chance and whim.. unless the game master is a shmuck an railroads the players.

A computer game has set task and a set ending.. with no real room to alter anything beyond set perameters.

Other than that, no.. I don't play video games so I a guess I am of no help to you at all.

Also not trying to start an argument, merely trying to clarify; atleast the games that I recognize of the games mentioned above are 'massive multiplayer online' games with a relatively free open world. That is to say, there's no set goal, you create your own experience with fellow players.

You're probably referring to games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Which are called "Role playing games" but are as you say, a defined goal etc.

I'm not quite sure where MMO's such as World of Warcraft or Skyrim would fall here, you have open worlds where you can go as you want. There's technically a goal, but you can get by just fine entirely ignoring that goal quite easily.

Despite th nuances of what is computer game, what is stole playing game, what is mmo game, and all the blurred lines between, I am hoping someone has some suggestions. If one doesn't exist, it probably should.

The japanese put a lot of them out, though I don't know if they ever translate over.
The problem is that making a video game is expensive, and time consuming.
And many video games lose money.
When you decide to make an adult video game, you are in an even worse position because NO ONE is going to carry it. I suppose you could do online sales and such, but Gamestop, EbWorld, Target, Wal-Mart, no one is going to carry it.
My guess is also that, if anyone in the states is making them, they probably suck (because, if you aren't going to make much money, you can't afford to make a good game)

Pretty much what Vail said. I'd encourage you to try out a 'non-porn' MMO, Age of Conan went free to play a short while ago and probably has a decent amount of people who might be interested in adult roleplaying. The production quality of those games is much better, though finding people there is much more difficult.

Ultimately, I don't know if it's going to provide much added value to what you'd get on Lit. You get a 3D environment, but besides that you either get a crappy, rough around the edges, low quality game with bad animations, or you get a decent game- but without any (sexual) animations or alike to go along with your role play.

I do think I've seen some adult themed MMORPGs, but never played them. I assume the quality is low at best.

I play WoW and there are realms that are loaded with srp, one I know of is Moonguard... also if you are on fet life you can search for others interested in WoW and join guilds that are adult only and focus on game playing but heavy with srp. Other than that I've heard of a game called Second Life although I've never played it and it apparently has adult areas as well.

I just can't imagine its anywhere near as interesting or fulfilling as lit.

Agreed. When I play WoW I want to kill stuff. When I come to lit, I feel like fucking, teasing and cuddling. shrugs

I used to do SL an there is. To get your avi to loo any where worth playing, you need Lindens and while you can get X lindens for free at start.. you have to earn the rest yourself some how.
By either paying Real money or buildinga remotely decent avi an pimp yopurself out for RP sex an shit...dancing.. what ever..
