Computer HELP!

I have three problems with my computer and internet

1. Alhough I have pop-up stopper and run adaware often, lately I have been gitting these annoying pop-up ads that block my view of the screen. How do I fix this?

2. Every few days my home page is automatically reset to a search page (don't remember which one) from my typical msn.com homepage. How can I stop this?

3. I have MySearch on my toolbar... which I think is altering my hompage (see #2) and I can not remove these no matter what I try. How can I remove these?

I have tried Spybot and Adaware and need more. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to Cookie Hell

in IE, goto TOOLS, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced and Click the over ride box for cookies, now set it to prompt for 1st and 3rd party cookies and go from there.

It'll be a pain in the arse for a while, you have to teach it what sites it can accept, but you can also block those that are taking you over

I know absolutely nothing about computers, but last week I had exactly the same problem. I clicked onto the Spyware browser check on Lit's home page and low and behold...it reported that I had a parasite caused by MySearch, or MyWeb. In fact it went under a whole lot of different names all starting with My...something or other. It advised me to remove the said programmes...I did and now everything is ok...Touch Wood
