brightlyiburn - Prince Charming Chpt 7
Lucifer Carrol - Valentine in the dregs
davidwatts - Thank you for the Days

Great stories all.

Well done, excellent work.

Congratulations all :kiss: :kiss: :kiss:

Great stories, espcially glad to see L_C's masterpiece in there!

Well done all who took part too :)

Congratulations you three!!!!!

I didn't get time to read many, but all that I did manage to read were outstanding, so awesome job everyone that entered.

Congratulations to the winners. I read Lucifer_Carrol's very good story soon after it was submitted and was astonished to see that I'd missed David Watts' beautiful piece which I finally did read and vote on this morning after the results were published. I never did get around to Prince Charming but I am basically not one for stories in Chapters at the best of times. Clearly though, there are many fans of longer stories.

I just want to add that the quality of the stories I managed to read was very high and I enjoyed the opportunity to participate alongside some very talented writers.

Thanks to all who voted and commented on my story - A Strange Seduction. It went up a week ago, managed to garner 99 votes, 22 Public Comments, about as many feedback letters and a respectable score of 4.77. In addition some of my other stories have been viewed and voted on , so it was a great contest to have been part of.

Again, well done to the winners.

Congratulations, you three! Well done!

I agree with GG. There was some quality work in this contest.

I'm pleased with my two entries which, after the final sweep finished at 4.75 and 4.70 -- not too shabby!

On to Earth Day! :D

YEHAW!
very proud of our writers. i tried to keep up with all the entries from the AH but still havea fair amount to read.
Kudos all!

Just to repeat what I left over on the Support thread:

Congratulations to all the winners. These were the highest winning scores I can remember. All of them were 4.90 or higher. Brightly and Lucifer produced fine stories and more than deserve their awards. But I've got to give a special tip-of-the-hat to DavidWatts. His short, bittersweet, non-erotic piece, Thank You For The Days, rang up 50 votes and a score of 4.90 to win third place. That's simply incredible. But then, so was his story.

Moving way, way down from that exalted level, the tedious totals for my Humor and Satire entry are:

score = 4.70
votes = 56
views = 3990
PC's = 19

If it's worth saying, it's worth saying three times :D

I agree with you about davidwatts, a very fine piece of work.

You ought be pleased with your own scores, 56 votes from under 4k hits is fine voting.

i loved your story, Rumpy.
it was beautifully told. but then, you knew that didntja?

Congratulations to the winners.

Their high scores are fantastic and an indication of the breadth of appeal of their stories.

Um...

I did a spittake and had to do some run around when I saw my name on there.

Mainly because I don't particularly remember giving head to any of the judges or ordering anyone to do so on my behalf.

Partly because the last I had checked, my story had been around 4.75.

Still...fuck. Uh, thanks everyone who enjoyed my tale and voted on it. I really don't deserve it, but it'll make it the perfect way to come out to my parents about this stuff ("Hey mom and dad, the story I made the most money on was porn.")

I'm more than humbled to be in the company of such fine authors and am shocked/mortified/bewildered that I did better than so many other talented authors.

In the meantime, how do you make a screenshot when you have an Apple laptop with the Safari web browser? I want to save the score before it's trolled back into the briny depths from whence it came.

EDITED TO ADD: Don't need help anymore. Found the Grab utility and am taking some momentos of this rare joy.

Lucifer,

You story deserved its recognition. As for screen savers, sorry.

Vella, I am proud of that score and the percentage who voted. That was my first Humor submission and it was fun. Thanks for the warm fuzzy.
