You're right. It is when you reply to that feedback via e-mail that your e-mail address would become known.
That's not true either. You shouldn't reply to the feedback emails you get from Lit; indeed, they do say so in the footer:
*DO NOT hit the REPLY button to respond to this email.*
If you do it anyway, then your reply will just go into the Lit's blackhole (and the site obviously knows your email already anyway).

Perhaps you meant using the address contained within that feedback message, if provided, to write a separate email to the user who've sent you said message. In which case I really hope such advice is unnecessary, as everyone here should be old enough to know that sending an email to someone reveals your own email address.

Yes, I meant replying to the member and not replying to the e-mail from the system
