Comments That Make Your Day

I got this one this morning on "Homeless." It's my new favourite.

"Anonymous about 4 hours ago
I will not read anymore of your stories. I spend too much time with tears in my eyes. Time for me to register with Literotica so you can be in my first five favorites!"

It just made my day!

Post your comments when a fan makes your day. :D

I got some massive personal feedback that was so good it was almost like I wrote it myself (er …I didnt).

“I'm always wanting to write Spector_Dugan asking if he will continue a certain series. I mean at this point I would love for them to continue most if not all of his series😊 So finding someone who seems to enjoy Spector's stories as much as I do and was willing to try their hand at continuing a series was amazing!

I gotta say you did an amazing job! I really enjoyed what you wrote. There is always a "realness" to Spector's stories. Some real consequences to whatever sex has been going on. The "Devil" series ended before we really got those consequences. We all knew they were coming. I love thats where you started. Those consequences we all knew were coming. And then where you took the story was amazing. There are definitely some more areas you could explore with these characters. I really really enjoyed it! Great Job!!”

Wow! Just wow. I am blown-away by that.

☺️☺️☺️

'you piece of shit i am a recovering alcoholic and you put a recipe for a white lady drink in your stupid authors notes you are trying to make me fall off the wagon so fuck you it wont work. fuck you and i hope you everythung tastes like earwax to you'

It's true, I did indeed put the Savoy Hotel's recipe for the famed White Lady cocktail in my author's notes in the last chapter. I find my readers respond very positively to that sort of thing, I enjoy doing it. However, apparently I am part of a conspiracy to make someone take up drinking again. Why am I always the last to know? They were not, as far as I can tell, angry about there being alcohol in the chapter, I do that ten times a chapter, they were just pissed that I gave instructions for how to make this specific one.

I love my readers. XD

He sounded like he was drunk in his comment, so um twice the win.

Given his distinct lack of punctuation, I'm reasonably certain I know which generation he was from. Li'l young to be an alcoholic, tho... :/
I don't know. I had two White Claws at a party once. Those were darker days but thanks to Bill, I made it through... one day at a time.

Please understand I'm only teasing, but... if you were drinking White Claws, I'm pretty sure we know what generation you belong to as well. :p

Then again, I drink single malt scotch, Guinness, absinthe, and cognac, so I drink like a Boomer, when I'm about as Gen X as you can get...

I'm 23, but prefer Wild Turkey or SoCo. Beer coors lt

Sounds to me like he needs to get some meetings or inpatient help, if he really thinks he might take up drinking again from a story.

I myself will be 11 years sober this coming September, and a story is just a story.

First off, all the congrats in the world for making it that far, dude, that's awesome. And if I'm honest, if anyone's stories are gonna make a person take up drinking, it's probably mine. Or Simon's. XD

I'm not sure if this makes my day. I'm still trying to decipher it, but I think Anonymous likes Proclivities part 9

How could I Not !
A story of love and explore!
Of deviance exposing central themes.
Of mutual search and tender explore and...
Find each other there.
How Rare!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy! And as you can. Share !!!

Thanks

Just brilliant
Love it ! Lovely outside of the box story that to me has a touch of Monty Python, typical clueless Country Constables, dumb criminals and lovable inventive and romantic main characters. It had me laughing out loud! I've pictured it all whilst reading it. Who else could you have defending Castle walls other than Vikings? Would have confused the fuck out of the ladder climbers; " Vikings climb walls! not defend walls! " wish all stories on this site would be up to this standard of story telling! The subtle humour, the way the baddies get what they deserve without mindless excessive violence; just brilliant. Should come with a warning though; only for imaginative people with an IQ of 100 minimum....

Coming back for a second read. Still as hot and heartwarming as the last time. Thank you for posting this.
I got the warm fuzzies from this one, on one of my less liked tales.

I tend to get very few comments. I submitted a pair of stories for Geek Day, one scoring as expected (4.4-4.55) but someone (or six) really didn't like the sequel - after 11 votes it had a score of 3.3 which I hadn't thought possible for anything literate outside LW.

This morning was very stressful with bad news. I distracted myself with Lit and noticed there were comments on the sequel. I expected abuse from the people who hated it.

On the contrary:

Fantastic origin story!

I knew the sex and kink would be hot between these two, but the story was really touching as well. Always great to see more of these characters. And you’re so damn good writing dialect.

My three favorite characters of yours, together, thank you very much. I’m always fascinated by your stories since uni life is so different from college in the states. I love all the slang and dialects you add, just makes it that much more fun!"

I cried. Thank you all.

My entry for Geek Pride has the usual comments in LW which range from:

the good:
" Enjoyable Read and Great Entertainment 5 Stars by Qwer12
Very well written and great story telling. Was a fun and enjoyable read. Well done and a great entry. That is how a poke-her night should go. Always fun to share a night of fun with your buddys. Thanks for publishing. Cheers"

the Bad:
"by Boyd Percy
Dumb! 2"

and the Ugly: "by Anonymous user
Your recommendations noted, my recommendation for you, EAT SHIT AND DIE"

Three nice comments on this morning, liked the one on Homeless best:

A great tear jerker story! i could not stop reading it!!! Please keep the stories coming!!!

I posted my Geek Pride story about the geek husband writing "The Bitch User Guide" as an instruction manual for handling his wife's sex needs, in case the husband isn't around anymore.

I received the following comment:
"by Anonymous user,

It seems that many of the LW comments were from trolls that don't understand the Stag/Vixen concept. It was a fun read and kept thinking about TBBT tv show and how this could/would have played out with that geeky crowd! Don't know of any male that would want to be the "replacement" after reading the Users Guide!!!!! The Bitch/Slut seems to be a little too high maintenance!!!!! But to be fair, Ted needs some sort of 'get even" after the pokerher night!!!!!"

This is a great comment. I'll now need to think about possibly writing a follow-up story from the wife POV writing her "Geek Training Manual", and how she and her girlfriends might play with him.
