Comments That Make Your Day

Sadly anonymous, but lovely:

@NoTalentHack ’s stories have mowed down more bonage than diabetes. Turns out that in addition to that incredible skill, he has a good eye for talent. This is not something I would have gone anywhere near, but I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely delightful. Do I feel dirty and ashamed? Sure do! My thanks to the author. 5

Hey! I think that's my favorite anonymous commenter. His accolades have show up in here previously.

I’m still thinking about the other Anon commenter who claimed I was your mistress. Do you think he meant it in a domme sort of way; perhaps he has a suppressed Femdom kink 🤣?

Another nice one on In Vitro Veritas:

This is a really, really good story. 5 stars....

But I didn't enjoy it. Not as things are meant to be enjoyed here. I don't like dominance/submission, don't get turned on by it, none of that. But this wasn't that kind of story, for me. You got inside their heads in a way I haven't seen before, and made me understand it like I haven't before.

I still don't enjoy it, and still would never want a relationship like that, but the discomfort I usually have with it was turned into the kind of discomfort of a psychological thriller, or even a horror movie. The kind where you empathize with the characters and want them to come out of it OK. It wasn't "ewww, icky", it was more "oh, god, what's going to happen?"

The ending really nailed it for me. Made me see the purpose behind it that isn't just about always upping the novelty and thrills, like an addiction. I wouldn't have read it except that I recognized your name in the OTJ entry list, but once into it, it was a page turner. Great job.

I'm assuming these are both the same guy.

I can't tell if English is his second language (NOT mocking him for that) or if he was just typing one handed.

Either way, I got a laugh from it.

He knows what he wants, that's for sure.

I mostly write serials, and I love the way some fans get invested. But this is over the top gratifying:
Haven’t read it.
Not gonna read it until it’s finished. I’ve learned to do this with your past stories. It’s just too frustrating waiting for the next installments! I feel like a Victorian gentleman waiting for the next serialization of David Copperfield to hit the stands!
Can you please say something like “FINAL” in the description of your concluding chapter? That way I’ll know to clear my schedule to binge the entire story.
You’ve become my favorite active author here.

I deleted the comment, because it was just so stupid, but it basically equated the cuckquean/cuckcake/husband relationship in IVV that I wrote to espousing Marxism. Some shit like "People like NTH want you to believe that anything can work as long as people care enough about each other." Yeah, or NTH wanted to write a hot dom/switch/sub MFF relationship and just couldn't resist digging into the relationships, because obsessive character building. People are fucking wild.

The clavicle is the collarbone; it's the sternum that heart patients get split.
Googling suggests that iris transplants could be possible (currently seem to be mostly artificial implants).
Interesting idea
Comment on Transplant:
Yes, the good old clavicle. A brain fart while I was writing cause I damn well know it's the sternum that gets split.
As weird as the story is...it's one of my favs.

I'm happy to see that, even after five years, the 2018 Valentine's Day contest-winning story, "The Forever Man," that I coauthored with Sabb as Shabbu, is still getting comments like this:

“One of the most moving stories I have had the privilege to read.

"The writing is of such a high order that it drew me in from first word to last and was an emotional experience not just a story.

“Thank you Shabbu for creating and sharing this work.”

Another great comment on Following Laura's Footsteps:

A well done modernization of the venerable “A Christmas Story” tale by Dickens. Thanks for the timeless Christmas gift to me and your other readers.

Now I never set out to write an update on Dickens's Christmas Carol, but when I finished, I saw the resemblance. What a shock!
The original title was something like "The Millionaire" intending to emphasize the spoiled rich vs the poor.

From the On the Job Challenge: Mrs. Jones' Meter Reader

Lovely story, Trionyx. You did a great job with the young protagonist as he developed through the story, including his little asides about his feelings or memories. MJ's foreshadowing during their last encounter was well played too, and their sexual exploration felt right and appropriate for the time. Great job with the challenge and 5*.

Not a comment, but discovering my fetish story I'll Need to Change the Sheets is # 50 in the All Time Top List for Fetish.

Gotta be happy with that - 50/24,400, yeah!

Edit: one hour later, and it's #40, with no change in votes. Que? I don't think I misread the number.

Mind you, I'm expecting it to pancake overnight, having mentioned it here - based on what folk have said about top list shenanigans.

Wow, some superfan went through and faved all my stories last night. Then left 5 comments (so far).
I'm not sure where he got the capital punishment from. She was killed in a car accident.

Following Laura's Footsteps
Out-Dickensing Dickens :)

Fido
Excellent fun

Cheatify The Bitch
Imaginative tale - my only reservation is capital punishment for cheaters goes a bit beyond btb.

Cheatify The Bastard
Even better than Cheat-ify the bitch. There I had reservations about her death being appropriate, but I have none for wreaking havoc on a btb for the male.

Wheelchair Girl
Damn, I wanted to give this a 5*

Very nice comment on Fathers, Brothers, and Sons:

Five easy stars, of course. Admittedly, at first when I saw that the story was 8 pages long, I groaned. And then I started reading . . . and I couldn't stop. Beautifully written, and obviously intensely painful. But the joy that I felt at the end was . . . well, indescribable and quite satisfying. I hadn't added a story to my favorites in quite a while, but this one was crying to be added . . . so I did. Well deserved. I'm going to hug my wife tonight and tell her how much I love her . . . forever. NoTalentHack? Quite the opposite. Thanks very much for your wonderful contribution. Just WOW.

I always worry about writing stories that are too long; three or four pages seems to be the sweet spot for most folks. It's nice to know people still read it and liked it, even if I did miss a single period, like SOMEone felt the need to point out.
