Comments Missing from Story?

Hey everyone - I've published a new story (just my second on the site), and its listing amongst new stories indicates that it has three comments. However, none are present when I scroll to the end of the story, and my dashboard shows no comments present. Screenshots illustrate the issue - any idea why this is?

They're not comments. They're bookmarks. Comments are a speech bubble.

Just means someone has saved your story on some personal reading list.

It's a fairly new detail. It's rather confusing. Can't blame you. It confused me too until I looked at a story with comments and saw the difference.

For future note, when you get a comment (as shown on your All Activties) the comment on the story doesn't always show up right away. Sometimes it can take half an hour to appear on the actual story.

The quickest way to see a comment is in your control panel for the story.

Way longer than half an hour, usually. I've noted it sometimes takes up to 9 hours.

Because the comments get moderated. That doesn't mean the ones that do come through can't be mean.

There's no content moderation, just the removal of spam links. It's up to authors to moderate the content - an author can delete any comment they get.
