Comforting words

My Mom and I are separated by an ocean right now and there has been a lot of shit flying for our family in the recent months.

We are so close and I know she misses both me and my lil boy too much...

She sent me a card and the words in it read.........


I hate it without you
Life isn`t the same
I feel I could cry
At the sound of your name

My heart is so empty
So heavy and sad
I love to reflect
On the good times we`ve had

So when I feel lonely
And life is a chore
I simply imagine
I`m with you once more

She sent it from Scotland on September 11th - little did she know how her words would affect me. When I read it my thoughts were with all of the souls lost and missing in NYC and those who love them.

I just wanted to leave the same words that she found comfort in so that anyone who finds themsleves lonely for someone may find it too.
