Cologne/ Perfume Poll

So in my ongoing effort to improve the relationship between the sexes. I am conducting the following poll.... How much cologne is too much on a potential mate. I think everyone has a preference and everyone likes to smell good. So lets see what the Lit consensus is!

I want to be able to smell a guy when I'm up close...but not from far away. So if I can smell you when we're kissing, that's good. If I can smell you from a couple of feet away...not so much.
Now I'm thinking about kissing you and smelling you. Is that bad?

To be honest, I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to perfumes, I have to hold my breath walking through that section of the department stores. I want to be able to catch a whiff of you when I stand close, which is quite sexy and alluring. In a way, it makes it special like sharing something private. Does that make sense? Not so special if everyone in the room can smell you coming. Honestly, if someone is wearing a ton of perfume/cologne, I assume they are hiding something or "trying too hard". Total turn off. Plus, it gives me a migrane....and really anything that makes me want to plunge an ice pick through my eye to stop the pain should be avoided.

I like the smell of soap and the more natural scents on both men and women. I don't particularly care for cologne or perfume......they mask the true scent that lies just below the flesh.

As a Zombie, I have the natural scent of necrosis. Its not for everyone

Yeah the dept store can be a bit of an overload - I think that Bed, Bath and Beyond is terrible. I have a headache when Im in there for more than ten minutes. Its like each scent is competing for my nose in a steel cage deathmatch!

I want to be able to smell a hint your cologne when i am close to you thinking about unbuttoning your shirt, then if I do I want the aroma to gently caress my senses...

I like the smell of Cool Water on a man.....I wear Coco Mademoiselle...

There is a French men's cologne called 1881 that fairly makes me swoon.

The warm, bready scent of him after a night's sleep, the freshness of just water and soap after a shower, and the musky, spicy smell at the end of the day - I don't like much to mask that, but a little cologne to sweetened the package is very alluring.

I love Cool Water on younger men, and Lancome Hypnose or Bvlgari Pour Homme-ish type scents for the older.

I predominantly wear both Issey Miyake (L'eau D'Issey and A Scent) perfumes, and home-made orange blossom water.

How come no one said old spice - the dude sat on a horse to advertise it and everything

When are they gonna invent scratch and sniff monitors already.

There is nothing more intoxicating than the natural smell of a man's skin.. yum!

Although, when a man is wearing a tiny bit of really nice cologne, and I get a little whiff when he is close to me, I get very excited.

I think subtlety is key.

Unfortunately I've known some guys who believe cologne is the answer for lack of proper hygiene If it smells like a guy has bathed in cologne, no thanks. I think my fav cologne for a guy is VS Very Sexy 2 for Him - just so intoxicating!

I usually wear a blend of 2 fragrances at once - at the moment VS Bombshell blended w/ VS Supermodel
