Beach, eh? Don't get too sun-burned - with your fair skin, that could really be painful!
A lot of the middle-aged women I used to work with had been sun worshippers in their 20's - it may have looked good back then, but it made them look ten years older NOW - skin like cured leather! Bleah!

hey zhuk...i havn't seen underworld yet. but i plan on trying to...it's tough toget me to go watch a movie alone, and i don't know anyone who'd go watch it with me...most of my friends have already been to see it. but, any vampire/werewolf movie so good that White Wolf is suing them over it has to be pretty good, right?

Yeah - I heard about the lawsuit. I never played that particular RPG, but a buddy of mine did - he said the storylines are VERY similar, with just a few name changes ("covens" for "clans", etc.)
I really liked it! Kate Beckinsale really doesn't look like herself in this movie, but wow! That lycra bodysuit is really something!
The storyline is a bit confusing, but it all makes sense in the end. The acting is a bit uneven, too - some of the characters (like the doctor!) are really done well, whereas the head of the coven, "Kraven", is a totally wooden actor who looks like a Jim Morrison clone...I had real problems with that!
Basically, I enjoyed it so much because my expectations weren't very high. Fans of the genre might be disappointed...But it's still better than "Le Divorce" (shudder).

Yeah - I can't wait! I went to watch Clemson's "club" team play against Virginia Commonwealth on Friday night - sheesh, did they ever get blown out! VCU was up 6-0 halfway through the second period...
We've got a decent minor league team here - the Greenville Grrrowl. They won the Kelley Cup either last season or the season before...
