Thanks...I emailed the professor and told him I was dropping the class...and unless he emails me back and says something different I'm gonna stay with that decision

Hey Guys, I'm a Mechanical Engineering major at Penn State University. I know there has to be more Nittany Lions in here than just me. How about Alumni? We have the largest alumni association in the country so I know there is atleast someone else out there that either attends or used to attend Penn State.

See I'm the same way...I mean I'll go ahead and put mine out there with this one stipulation....this is what I believe and it's very hard to make me believe otherwise, and I do not...I repeat DO NOT force it on anyone...
I am a Christian, and I love God. I've grown up in church, served on Youth Boards in my district for my denomination and don't like it when people lump all Christians together and think that we are all the over zealous ones beat you over the head with religion....

See I think I'm the same way as you, if I understand you how I think. I believe in what I call Faith, I believe that God is there and with us all the time, but I dispise the bible. I don't think God had anything to do with it and it's just a tool to control the masses. I do think God is there with us pushing us along giving us the freewill to do what we wish in life and if we ever need him he is always there for us. I also have no religion and grew up with none.

Hi, welcome to the thread. I'm not from Penn State, but my favorite English professor went there way back in the day.

I was raised Catholic, and trust me you did not miss out. More rules and regulations than you can shake a stick at. Though I still go to Mass, because I find it peaceful.
