I have a few questions which can be answered by anyone. First of all, do you/does your mate have a collar? Second, do you/does your mate wear it all the time? Thridly, what does it look like? Is it an obvious collar or just a symbol of one?

I forgot to add: Is a collar a necessary element in your relationship?

1. Not at this time. But I do demand it.

2. Yes, there are two, one for home, one for public.

3. The one for home is quite obvious ( but I allow the public one in social home settings) It was a black leather band with a small golden lock.( I wore the key on a small gold chain) . the public one is a gold chain and a leather bracelet.

The collar is symbolic more than anything. While I am also married to my former slave ( complicated ? You bet !! ) She also wears a ring. The collar was to signify submission, the ring was a sign of marriage. I liked the idea and plan on always using it.

1. Yes she does. I had it custom made for her.

2. She is required to wear it at all times, and there has to be a DAMN good excuse not to (such as, the chain broke showing the pieces, but still had it on her person)

3. A Quartz dagger and bloodstone cabochon set in sterling silver, suspended from a sterling silver choker necklace.

4. It is a stylish choker necklace, but as it is not overt, I would have to say it is more symbolic.

I wear a training collar all the time, unless in the shower - then Sir takes it off and puts it back on himself. It's a heavy sterling silver link chain with a heart charm on the toggle. It's an obvious enough collar to those who know what one is - I was stopped on the sidewalk outside my workplace once, at the door of one of the other offices in our building, and told "nice collar" once lol - but it's not so obvious that I cannot wear it to work. In fact, I've gotten a lot of compliments on my "necklace" from coworkers lol

*nods* Sir and I are planning the same. I will get my permanent collar the same day I receive our wedding band.

I wear a black leather collar (about 1 inch wide) and double thickness. It is worn all the time in public and private and is only removed for showers, when Masterful one wishes it removed for some specific purpose, or on the few occasions when I have had heat rashes it has irritated. It has deep symbolic meaning for us and collaring has been part of us since we first met in the physical sense....it also is the only one he has ever offered and the only one I have accepted.
