Collar's Frivolity

What I want to know is where are the people I can giggle with in real life gone? Why did every one grow up and get dour? Why don't people understand the benefit of cats, frivolous behaviour, silly ness?

Only 32, but I haven't lost my giggle yet. I don't plan to either.

Well, exactly! When I caught Gianbattista's shocked face I started to giggle...then cough.....

Imagine, a life where a normal range of emotion were not daily and lAUGHTER was not part of daily life.

I know some of you would understand this is not normal as G and I see it. :rose:

You should have said...
No no no, not a daily problem.
It's hourly! :p

Good!

I said to my doctor that my cough was mainly still a real bothering to me when I laughed deeply or got the giggles. My doctor said ' so its not a daily problem?"

It's not a good laugh unless I snort. It's entirely involuntary. I don't laugh nearly as much as I'd like these days, but hopefully it won't last.

Then there are the laughing soul mates that I've encountered in life. People who can laugh for extended periods with you until you both can't really remember what you're laughing about, and you're just laughing about the laughing. I had a teacher like that once. She was awesome.

My littlest is like this. He laughed about something when he was about 9 months old, so I laughed, and he laughed, and well...You get the idea.

Anthropomorphisation: the reason its so adorable when cats sleep under the sheets with their little heads out and on a pillow. The two of them got on bed, lay down next to each other, put their arms around each other and settled down immediately.

That is so cute! I love kitty snuggles... I had a cat that would sleep with a pillow and a blanket. If I made a bed for her, she would get right in and snooze :p

Awww.. thanks, MWY!
I can't help but wonder if that was vodka? :p

I don't know......my cats do that for fun.....I think its not so unusual. :). When they were young and learning table manners they also had to learn not to put paws in people's mugs to help themselves .....to anything they wanted to investigTe or taste....water, tea....wine

Mine too
I call the littlest one Poppy, because any time I sit down at the table her head pops up by my side. And if I don't watch her she will help herself!!

I would like cats a whole lot better if they preferred gin over vodka.
