Collar's Frivolity

So I'm not alone in this! :l

My cat walks on us like we don't exist. When she wants something she gets a running start and jumps on us. I have terrible flinching reactions in the morning if I wake up to the noise of claws ripping through carpet. …>_<…

I wake up to purring and a soft nose and whiskers against my chin. That was fine when she weighed a pound, but it's getting more and more problematic!

It's a nice problem compared to getting flying kicked in the stomach while you're asleep. Really, asleep on my side when suddenly I was hit by four cat paws at high speed only for her to use me like a spring board and start running in the opposite direction.

。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

I cried that morning.

(^。^) It's a much better morning when she's just cuddling and purring.

More spiders
Thankfully, no sign of Larry lately, though.

Elle - is that the kitty that wears a purse around the house? :cattail:

Glad that Larry has been laying low..

No, this is the other one. :D.

We have lots of spiders right now. I need to go conker gathering, but I am not sure it really makes any difference at all.

Edit: I put a little bag on a surface other cat would reach...didn't take long

What is conker gathering, and how is that connected to spiders?

I have a spider dilemma. I will not kill in-house spiders, but I have 4 making delicate webs in our stairway window and it's getting out of control. I want to take the webs down but not hurt the spiders. I have a lambswool duster that I hope will give them enough warning to seek another (less obvious?) home, but it's too far to reach. I guess the highest-up one gets to stay.

Do you have a porch you could put them out on? Especially if it has furniture or anything for them to live under. I have relocated spiders myself, I know what you mean. Remember the one that kept building a web in front of my door? I successfully relocated him up under the eaves. With your hot weather it shouldn't kill them to put them out. Put them out at night, by a light if you can. I know, I'm a spider expert now :p
