Collaring Cermonies

I searched the forum for a thread about this and found nothing.


I have been with my mistress for 5 months now and she has collared me, but we wanted to do something more offical and some point in the future. I was wondering if anyone had done a collaring cermony or had any ideas about the cermony and what would be in it. We are looking to hear different opionons on the subject, see if there are some ideas out there that we like and would like to include or do, so please post away

When Master presented His collar (a very pretty silver collar which can be worn in public and is just as suitable for casual wear as it is for dressier occasions) to me, we were at a local restaurant for dinner with His children and mine. It was the most casual a presentation to ever exist, only He and i were aware of the symbolism involved in my accepting & then placing the collar around my neck. While a collaring ceremony may be desired as a celebration for involving friends, family or others who are aware of the significance of the symbol of the collar, it IS only a symbol. The collar and ceremony are not nearly as important as honoring the vows and promises exchanged. While we have discussed plans for a more formal collaring ceremony to take place between the two of us in the future, the private ceremony that took place between He and i that night at the restuarant was perfect, to me.
