It doesn't lock or anything, but I don't take it off, unless it gets stuck in my hair or there's a formal event of sorts where I have to dress up nicely and it doesn't go well with my clothes.

It's lost a lot of its symbolism for us - wearing it doesn't make me any more or less his or our relationship any more or less D/s - so I wear it out of a habit more than anything else. Sometimes it jingles a bit when it moves. Normally I don't pay any attention to it anymore, but at times the little sound somehow pierces everything around me and hearing it makes me smile and remember the excitement of the early days of wearing it. I like that a lot.

Oh it is very pretty. What type of weight does it have?

The necklaces I wore before this one were tiny, delicate almost, so compared to them, this one felt really heavy, but actually it isn't that heavy at all. Although it's heavy enough that I get a red circle right where it lands when I jump around. Adds an unexpected twist to working out.
