Collab Question

I started a collab almost 5 years ago that my writing partner and I alternated submissions to be posted on here. She quit writing and then I did the same for awhile, deleted the chapters I had posted. She still has her's posted. I came back and started posting again then found this unfinished collab in my writing files and want to finish the story. My collab partner isn't around anymore and I was wondering how I'd get back to writing it solo? We only got to chapter 4 I believe, but I'd really like to complete it since it was an interesting story.

Just finish it off by yourself. If you've tried reaching your collaborator and can't hook up with her again, your only other option is to just drop it.

Is there something about a 'collab' that excludes substituting another writer?

Thanks. Kind of figured that but thought I'd get another opinion. Guess I will rewrite it and title it differently and go from there.
