We have a glass shower stall and we use it for cold water discipline. Its great because it causes terrible discomfort without doing any real harm. When my wife needs punishment, I strip her, restrain her wrists usually with zip ties, drag her screaming into the shower and turn on the cold water. More screaming and crying, maybe she'll piss herself. If I feel sorry for her, I'll let her run under the covers when its over. She will sometimes beg for an orgasm to help her warm up.

Mine's well controlled, also. Been on meds for, wow, 27 years and haven't changed dosage in over ten years. Still, I'm perpetually chilly - except when I'm living somewhere tropical and/or hot.
That could be low iron, though. Hm.

Might be time to double check-- ask for a full thyroid panel. As some women age, the ability to make use of the T3 that synthroid provides, starts to fail.
