I was looking into getting a cock ring (my first) I followed the instructions for measuring and was surprised to find that the size I needed was much larger than available. My Question now is how snug is it supposed to be? They said not go go to small or it might get stuck. Does any one have advice on this?

First I'd go to Home Depot and buy several differnt sizes or rubber o-rings. They're cheap and work just as well. You can both find your size and a possibly cheaper alternative.

They have several different kinds of cock rings. A good way to find one that is the right size you want is getting one of the leather/vinyl cock rings with various snaps. This way you can make it as tight as you want without the worry of not being able to get it off.
I'd also suggest if you're going to get a non-snap cock ring to start with the rubber kind. They're a pain because they can get caught in the pubic hair easier, but they're less dangerous.
The stainless steel ones are awesome to have once you know the right size well, and with various sizes you can do all kinds of neat things, but being that you can cause serious damage if one stays on to long or gets stuck, you want to use all the other kinds first to make sure you get the right size.
If I remember right the recommended time is to not leave a even fairly tight cock ring on for more than 20 minutes. I can end up causing problems. Blood restriction and all that.
