That is what it has come to. We have to post a caution on the story just to try to keep the moral crusade from insulting, threatening, and down rating on our beloved slut wife, hot wife, slut girlfriend, wimp hubby, and cuckold stories. Even the warning at the very top of the story does not work sometimes. They see the warning and still proceed to act like God appointed jerks who are on a mission to destroy the cuckold genre.

I am tired of you self righteous, pious, holier-than-thou hypocrites who post negative comments, rate down stories, and hurl insults just because you do not agree with a cheating slut wife. Go to church or something. You’re on an adult site, with all kinds of freakish taboo stuff going on, yet you want to get on your high horse and preach to the authors.

As a result of your high mindedness, the number of slut wife stories being posted has significantly dropped over time. I guess that would count as a success to your crusade to annihilate cuckold, slut girlfriend, slut wife, hot wife, and wimp husband stories. Well congratulations on being on being a hypocrite, a puffed up chest sticking out proud of my morals let me force them down your throat, jerk. To all lovers of slut wife/slut girlfriend stories, please continue to post them despite and in spite of these holy rollers. When you see one of them post a story, give them the same treatment they give slut wife stories. If they want to go on a moral crusade against slut wife and/or wimp husband stories, then we should go on a moral crusade of having the right to choose your own kink. You can tell their stories by the moral message they try to present with the wife getting comeuppance for her actions. We don’t want to see the wife get comeuppance, we want to see the wife get cum up her. We don’t want to see justice on the cheating girlfriend, we want to see just us and our friends and our roommate and our preacher and our delivery guy and even our worst enemy all over the cheating girlfriend. Yet, we don’t go around ranting just because the revenge or moral story is not our type of story. We don’t demand the authors stop posting revenge stories. We don’t insult those authors, in some cases threatening them and also 1 star all of their stories regardless of how good the story is. While we know the difference between not liking something and going balls out to get rid of something, we still should strike back. While we have the decency to not be hypocrites for judging others just because we don’t enjoy their particular kink, we deserve the chance to fight back against these moral crusaders who effect the number of stories we like getting posted.

We could take the high road and say we’re not stooping to their level. Fuck that, they are taking away our enjoyment by harassing good authors of good slut wife stories. Many authors stop posting their slut wife work because of these jerks. It is not fair and it is high time we gave them a taste of their own medicine. I posted my first story three days ago and have received a torrent of abuse. I have also received a lot of enormously positive feedback.

I like to receive the abuse, and that is not because I am masochistic. What I want to do with my stories is provoke a reaction. Indifference would be hard to take, abuse is a complement even if they don't know it.

Haha, thanks jamesinpain. I can definitely look at it like that. While I can agree with your sentiment that it will be enjoyable to envision these jerks fuming red in the face and feeling personally assaulted by someone else's fictional story, I have to state that their actions are still detrimental to lovers of slut wife/cuckold stories. If it were not for the fact that some good authors are refraining from posting slut wife stories anymore, I would be all about just laughing at them and not doing anything about it. However, they are effecting the bottom line. More slut wife stories is a good thing, and that's the bottom line. I'd like to see Stunning Steve Austin take off some of the heads of these jerks. There's already a fair amount of the retribution that you're suggesting going on in the category. Always has been from what I've seen.

The people who hate cuck/slutwife/etc stories do seem to be a bit more long winded, vulgar, and a wee bit short on the ability to distinguish fantasy from reality, but they're hardly alone in the category, so far as venomous commentary goes.

If you search for previous discussions of the category here in the AH, you'll see that writers have always observed multiple camps of hostile commenters floating around in the "shark pit". All of the camps discourage people -- many of whom are damn good writers and could provide some fine additions -- from ever posting there.

LW is a civil war, and only the bravest ( some would say most foolhardy *laugh* ) of souls dares venture there. The general attitude of the AH has always seemed to boil down to splitting the category up along approximately the lines of the commenting camps.

Would it solve the problem? No. It would at least make those who hate a certain type of story look even more foolish for venturing into a plainly marked category that they know they're going to hate to spew venom

I didn't vote in your poll because it doesn't have the option I want. I don't care, but definitely not because 'who cares if others infringe on others rights to enoy their kink'. Of course. Someone will find something wrong somehow with your story. So what. What I am talking about is the concerted effort to discourage the posting of a particular kink, namely slut wives who get away with fucking men other than their husbands. It is *not* random comments or a single user attacking single stories. Their is a clear intent to discredit an entire style of story.

I could care less about receiving negative feedback on a story. These are insults and threats on the kink of cuckold that I am complaining about. Even if splitting the categories is not worth the time required by Literotica staff, a simple changing of the description of the category could help as you say make them look "even more foolish for venturing into a plainly marked category."

Currently the description has adventurous married women and their mates. To make it more plainly noted that the married women sometimes cheat and their husbands sometimes approve of that cheating, would help out a little bit. Like you say, it would not solve the problem. It would however make them look even more stupid than they already look.

Freshlydirty, there have been a number of suggestions on how to ease up the hatred that focusses on LW, and laurel and manu just don't care. They don't even have to seperate the existing stories, just make new categories; "adventuresome spouses," "cuckolded husbands," and "vengeful husbands."

Back when I had stories on lit I never put anything into LW, and I took the marriage right out of one so that it would go into group sex instead.

The obvious fix is to give cuckold its own category. "Loving Wives" has always been cutely euphemistic, but confusing to casual readers.

Cuckold stories aren't the only that have to deal with category bias. Anything involving bisexual (not strictly gay) males is tricky. We get at least one post a month here from an author trying to figure out where their story fits.

Again. For the authors who care about votes and comments, the site has provided the option to not allow either if they feel they are being judged unfairly. I don't understand your mission. I don't see how posting 100,000 stories in the category will discourage people from posting their hate on the public comments of those 100,000. The most it will do is give them a LOT more places to spew their hatred.

This thread is just what you said it was - whining. You know what happens when you post in loving wives. You can either stop comments, or take them, knowing that you will be getting rabid people who get affronted just by the topic. I post in LW all the time and have a good laugh at some of the stupidest people on earth when they comment. Although I really haven't counted I would say, just off the top of my head, that I have received more positive comments then negative. The emails I receive are also positive and wanting to know when the next chapter will be available.

They award one every couple of days (or so). Then there's an "oh yeah?" backlash from some of the readers, who scrutinize those stories extra hard--but they can't take away the green E. The ones in the LW category, of course, get an extra rake over the coals.

You know these people say things like this. They tell you to kill yourself. They say how they'd love to find you and bash your brains in. How you and your wife deserve to die a slow painful death. Yet, we still have people who say we just "love to complain about the negative comments." Yeah, it's our fault buddy.
