Mid sized town just hired their first female firefighters and send them for training. Unfortunately, female changeroom is not yet ready, but the class must go one, because they only rum it once a year...

It would be helpful if you knew or could find out about how firefighting and training is done. That depends on how much detail you want to get into, unless you only want to write about the changing room. Anyway, it's more complicated than some people may realize.

I found a series of videos (sixteen of them!) about what it's like to be in a fire academy. Notice that there are some women joining this department in Colorado. It's a bit like joinibg the military perhaps.

26 year career in the fire service, retired 22 years ago because of heart problems. I was around as the first women showed up in the ranks. Best (smartest) Battalion Chief I ever worked with was a woman, she was one sharp cookie. A niece was a probationary firefighter 8 years ago. Quickly gained EMT status, then Paramedic certification, and is now a station Captain.

Getting back to the theme of this thread, she was a lesbian in her younger days, but is now a full fledged hose handler. 👨🏻‍🚒

So she's ambidextrous?
