I remember when I was a kid, we'd get rain, and rain, and rain - it would all run down the hills, and our stream in the backyard would jump its banks, and come across the yard. The creek that the stream met up with would get fuller and fuller, but not swifter, and it would slowly get higher, and higher, and spread out towards our house.

We went down the driveway in a rowboat, to the cars at higher ground... it was really fun, and kind of scary, when I was little, all at the same time.

Can we have a pooch on the ark? I need some more quality time with a good dog!
