I always wondered how much of a real (not just porn thing) CFNM/CMNF was. All but one poster on the tread (mostly women) really seem to love the idea and practice of CMNF. Only one person so far, a guy liked the reverse.
ON a couple of the CFNM threads that were started, there was not much interest...so I am thinking CFNM is just really a porn thing while CMNF is something women enjoy.

I think it's the numbers. There are far less male submissives / female Dominants here. Virtually all the threads skew toward submissive women / Dominant men.

Try not to assume too much about the numbers based on the posts you see. There are dominant women (or switches) around who lurk or simply choose not to post, in the same way that many men with an interest in male submission prefer to watch from a distance.
I had someone comment to me the other day that most people in general lean submissive, or have a submissive side, and while I don't know that I agree, it was a thought-provoking point to have made. It does often seem as though there is a shortage of dominants of either gender, but that may just be my limited perception.
With regards to CF/nm events, I think I have mentioned before that California has a ladies' tea society in which the servers (both genders) are always naked. You can read more about it on their site at twistedteas.org
