I don't know if that would be the motivation. I was actually a Lit member for at least a year before I discovered there were forums. People like that don't even know about your threads, but they may be a minority.

I was checking some stats for my best scoring story. It has over 60,000 views, only 120 voters and a measly 9 comments. Its score is around 4.7 though.

seriously tho, people rate stuff for different reasons. I rate base on quality of writing mainly and then content.

It can be the most boring scene , but if the author carries it off with great narrative and dialog, it gets a good score from me. Bonus if the scene is actually hot/interesting.

A lot of people probably rate on content alone and then people only rate if they feel enough about the piece to press the appropriate star anyway.

Yes, some exposure from your threads, but you also get a following and then the scores are more consistent because the same people read follow up stuff and rate similarly (if you are consistent)

Do they want to get into your pants? Seeing your pics, probably.

Sweetie, what I suggest doing is perhaps start writing some longer pieces. Get some depth in the storyline and allow yourself to build up the characters.

They don't have to be "chapters", but medium length, say 10,000 words a story that can be varied or about a central character (Cloud for instance) that can be loosely tied together if you don't want to develop a novel sized plot.

Doing so will allow you to develop greater writing skills and think further into the storyline and characters and give the readers more to chew on.

I like your work. It's introspective, sensitive, emotional and descriptive.

I'd love to sit down and really get engrossed with a longer works by you.
