The smile of a person who wants to help.>

<I grin at the convoluted turn of phrase...the kind that always sparks an odd look for it's complications...but a nodd for it's accuracy.>

*i watch as his finger trails lightly over the back of my hand and quickly look up into his eyes, by breath catching momentarily at the seductive smile...biting my bottom lip, i find i can't tear my eyes from his...letting my breath out when he sits back, embarrassed at myself for my reaction...feeling a bit flustered as i try to find my voice again*

i'm not one to ask...usually it is i that does the offering...

<I can't help but giggle, though knowing B is correct. I turn, gazing at the two for a moment. Before me I see a sensual beauty between the two and a wonderful man to call friend. Carefully I slip a book from the shelf and move to one of those half couch chairs and stretch across, crossing my booted feet at the ankles and begin to read, though the book is upside down and a shiver seems to be passing over my frame.>

What about yourself? Since you called me a Yankee, I know you're not from the south...the correct term for us down there is 'damnyankee' said as one word. <I chuckle.>

Well, you could be polite, but of course, you might realize my ancestors fought for the south during the war of northern agression. <I wink at her.>

Last time I was in Georgia was...wow...damn near twenty years now. Same with South Carolina. <I grin at her and chuckle.>

it's okay...my dad was born and raised in Jersey...family somewhere around Reading, Penn (or is it Redding?) this just happened to be where i landed...and with the exception of a 4 year visit in california, and 3 in north carolina....i've called this area home for about 20 years now...
