Satellite images show massive amounts of destruction in several areas which Israel's military command claims to have under "operational control".
Large swathes of it have been caused by planned demolitions, both to already damaged buildings and ones that appeared largely intact.
Multiple legal experts told BBC Verify that Israel may have committed war crimes under the Geneva Convention, which largely prohibits the destruction of infrastructure by an occupying power.
it has been announced that anyone accepting the 'offer' to move into the 'new, purpose-built "humanitarian city" would NOT be free to leave it ever again. In July, Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz outlined plans to establish what he called a "humanitarian city" over the ruins of Rafah, with an initial 600,000 Palestinians being confined there.
The plan has been widely condemned. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the BBC that the proposal would be "interpreted as being akin to a concentration camp".
How is this sort of genuinely antisemitic claptrap allowed on this forum?
There is no sign of a let-up in the pace of the demolitions. Israeli media reported last week that the IDF had received dozens of D9 bulldozers from the US, which had been suspended under the Biden administration.
And BBC Verify identified dozens of adverts posted to Israeli Facebook groups which were offering work in Gaza to demolition contractors. The majority of the posts have been shared by recruiters since May.

There is no genocide in Gaza. That's a slur spread to distract from the Muslim plan to kill all the Jews. The "Palestinian" cause has always been about committing genocide. How is this sort of genuinely antisemitic claptrap allowed on this forum?
Plenty of ānice Jewsā have been on protests against the Israeli war and propaganda machine for nearly two years, in their hundreds of thousands worldwide.
Repeat after me: itās not about the race or the religion, itās about the land and the result of superior race ethnostate thinking that always results in ethnic cleansing and genocide.
Looking forward to Israel getting found guilty of genocide at the ICC.
Never has so much evidence of so much wrongdoing against so many been available in so many different ways to so many people worldwide.

so are Palestinians just very bad at it or is Israel simply far better? There is no genocide in Gaza. That's a slur spread to distract from the Muslim plan to kill all the Jews. The "Palestinian" cause has always been about committing genocide.
Israel levelling thousands of Gaza civilian buildings in controlled demolitions
Israel's been busy leveling Palestinian property in 40 locations in Gaza, including many in Rafa, sound buildings as well as the destroyed ones, removing infrastructure such as schools, municipal buildings and apartments making it impossible for Palestinians to return to any semblance of their life there. Plans are in place to build a "humanitarian city" (a prison, effectively) over Rafa's site, up against the now Israeli-controlled border crossing and in land now occupied by Israel.
it has been announced that anyone accepting the 'offer' to move into the 'new, purpose-built "humanitarian city" would NOT be free to leave it ever again.
though it would seem world experts in these matters entirely disagree with that statement and accuse Israel of potentially committing war crimes since the occupying forces are supposed to help make life safe for the populations there, not bomb the shit out of everything and then continue to eradicate the remaining, viable infrastructure making it impossible for the displaced people to return/continue to live there.A couple things:
⢠As far as the demolition of old infrastructure in Gaza, and the construction of a "new safe city for Gazans" is concerned, the Israelis CAN justify their actions: Hamas is STILL in control of the "innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza", and leaving them (Hamas) to roam free in Gaza with knowledge of the terror tunnel networks & weapons stashes would present an unacceptable continuing threat to Israel.
⢠As far as the resumption of U.S. shipments of bulldozers, etc, to Israel (to be used in Gaza) under the Trump administration, well, the Arab / Muslim American community VOTED FOR DONOLD, soā¦

Neither, it is a lie to say Palestinians want an Israeli genocide.so are Palestinians just very bad at it or is Israel simply far better?
/rhetorical question.

Nah youāre still peddling Israeli hasbaraThe "experts" are often paid or have their own personal agenda - especially when it comes to the Israeli -"Palestinian" situation.
And the "experts" also do NOT have the same level of concern for the future safety of the Israeli citizens as the Israeli government does - especially after 10/7.

Bottom line:
Hamas, etc, made / continue to make choices. Choices have consequences. Elections have consequences.
Now it is what it is.

Would that include Alligator Alcatraz? I thought 'the good guys' built that one?I note with amusement, having left the forum and come back, that thereās still the usual suspects peddling the pro Israeli āitās not a genocideā level of unintelligent bigotry and malice Iāve now come to expect from pro Israel supporters.
The rest of the world is waking up and change is coming - there will be a reckoning.
Meanwhile, 90 Palestinians killed today in a variety of ways and some killed at a Catholic Church āaccidentally on purposeā yesterday by the IOF.
God you lot purporting this is defence still are sick in the head, and racist. Find your humanity please before itās too late for everyone.
Just remember - in no story or historical event were the good guys building concentration camps.
i see that tongue in your cheek, dmallordWould that include Alligator Alcatraz? I thought 'the good guys' built that one?
Israeli hasbara
Israel knows it faces an existential threat from hostile neighbors. That's why service in the IDF is mandatory for young Israelis. That's why every Israeli house has mandatory safe rooms and bomb shelters. That's why Iron Dome was built. Israel knows that if they don't constantly stay on guard, they will be annihilated. We saw what happened on October 7th when Israel briefly let it's guard down--mass rape and slaughter. That's the Palestinian plan if Israel doesn't defend itself.so are Palestinians just very bad at it or is Israel simply far better?
/rhetorical question.
Look with respect, you can get in the bin too.
Is that ^ anything like "Palestinian" shite???

Oh that definitely counts as a concentration camp. Like straight up, how are the Americans not seeing the bloody obvious?Would that include Alligator Alcatraz? I thought 'the good guys' built that one?
The letter, organized by the U.S. branch of Smol Emuni (Religious Left) ā an organization of observant Jews focused on ending the occupation and promoting human rights and equality ā comes amid a sharp rise in settler violence across the West Bank since the outbreak of war in Gaza.
The signatories describe what they call a pattern of violent attacks on Palestinian civilians, including arson and the forced displacement of families from their homes.
"These actions are contrary to the morality of the Torah," the letter reads.
The letter refers to the perpetrators who "believe they are fulfilling God's commandment to conquer the land" and rejects the use of religious justification for violence against civilians.
Why did you create a new account? Was your old account banned?Look with respect, you can get in the bin too.
Thereās no āboth sidingā a genocide.
Actively trying to claim Palestinian resistance is as bad as Israeli aggression when the latter is thousands of times worse, and with ample evidence to show as the frankly outright evil stuff happening (classing baby formula as dual use and then banning it from entering Gaza is evil - no arguments) - nah, away with you and your Israeli hasbara.
Weāre not buying it anymore.
A growing number of Jewish staff and faculty in higher education are speaking out against what they say is the federal government and their own institutions weaponizing accusations of antisemitism in order to silence dissent, punish those who criticize the Israeli government and exert more control over the U.S. education system.
On Wednesday, at least 40 such staff at the University of Virginia signed on to a statement in The Cavalier Daily, the schoolās student paper, warning against the āexploitation of the term antisemitism deployed in an effort to harass, expel, arrest, deport dox and defame students, faculty, staff and other academic workers across the country.ā
āPolitically disfavored speech is disingenuously being labeled āantisemitism.ā This misrepresentation makes Jews the face of political repression and the face of the suppression of speech ā this itself is a form of scapegoating. This makes Jews less safe,ā the letter read.
