Overall, is the clit piercing a good idea?

I've been wanting one for quite some time. I opted for nipple piercings last time but I think I'm ready for the real deal.

I can not speak from personal experience. I did have my slave's clit HOOD pierced over 12 years ago and she loves it even today.

My question to you is are you looking to have your CLIT pierced or your CLIT HOOD. Two very different things. From what my wife says clit hood yes, your clit pierced, be very, very, very careful and talk to as many people who have had it done before you act. Your clit has lots and lots of every important nerves you may not want severed.

I've you've had your nips pierced, a hood piercing (making that assumption, as Master already asked) will be a walk in the park. The tough part was HIM leaving it alone long enough to heal. Fortunately we were still LD at the time, so he didn't have to stress through the entire process. I'll never forget coming back to the hotel where I was staying after the piercing. He was like a little kid waiting to unwrap a present. <soft smile> He couldn't touch but he did a LOT of looking and grinning.

I was told two months of no oral and proper healing care (salt water soaks, very gentle washing with antibacterial soap, and diluted lavender oil).

It has definitely made me even more sensitive (as if I needed help ). Bicycling sometimes make me cross my eyes and wobble a lot but it sure is fun! Master has never needed a target for his oral attentions, but he does like playing with it, which sends me to the moon.

My piercer advised a vertical piercing over a horizontal, but I'll be darned if I remember why now. One piece of advice, on the TMI side...be very gentle using the bathroom in those initial healing weeks. Vigorous wiping is no fun. Beyond the healing time, still be careful about wiping...little bits of toilet paper can get caught around the hardware (I started with a curved barbell, now I have a larger-gauge CBR) and cause irritation. And if you use tampons, be damned sure you know where the string is before removing it!

Thanks, and I should have specified. I want the hood pierced. Did a lot of research before I decided on the nips last time instead of the VCH. Still want it done.

Got it done today!! Didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected. Definitely a pinch but it was over before I knew what happened.

I got the vertical and got a curved barbell. I had the same lady that did my nipples do the VCH so I had someone I trusted. I'm looking forward to the first time my other half of this account gets to take it for a test run. I'm sure he'll love it even more than he already did when we went to the shop today. And the jewelry is a really pretty teal color. I'm very pleased. Still a bit nervous about sex for the first time with it and protecting it. but we'll figure it out.
