Climate continues to change.

I am a bit of a sceptic, insofar as I don't really believe that climate change is wholly atributable to humans.
But I do accept that it is changing and that regardless of the cause we should all be doing our bit to make the planet less polluted.
I can also see the other impacts humans have made.... extinctions, etc..... and that we should be doing much more to preserve what's left.

Sadly though, it always seems to come down to money rather than common sense.

And - I'm still blown away by the thought of necrophiliac penguins

We'll put, my thoughts exactly lol, there has to to be a medium when it comes to the earth and humans. There is no possible way or solution to stop climate change, it's inevitable, but like you said there has ways to hinder and make a sizable difference.

What are your guys thoughts on hydrogen based hybrids, solves some major issues...

While Hydrogen could be used in today gasoline engines with little needed modification, the issue is, where do you get the Hydrogen from? 90% or so of today's current hydrogen is derived from fossil fuels.

To extract hydrogen, from say splitting up water (H2O) into the molecules of 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen requires more input energy than the output energy the extracted Hydrogen will produce.

We can lower that input energy cost through methods such a wind generator plants, but even still making pure Hydrogen out of water is difficult. Generally all that is collected is a gas, made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen. Which still can be used as a fuel, but there is a myriad of problems in transporting, compressing, storing etc etc...

At this time the majority of hydrogen comes from natural gas. The byproduct Is CO2 and other green house gasses. So your still drilling and still polluting. Could Making hydrogen from water Deplete your water supply?

The CO2 can be immediately captured and sequestered.

Notice how clear the skies became after the worldwide lockdowns? With so much less pollution in March and April?

May 2020 was the warmest May on record.

So we know that the ice on the earth has melted before. So the earth spins which gives us days, the earth also moves around the sun and that gives us the seasons of the year. Our solar system moves around the Galaxy and the galaxy moves around the universe. How do we know that this isn’t some sort of galactic seasons? I’m not saying we shouldn’t take care of the place we live. But I do know we don’t know much.

We’ve been measuring temperatures all over the solar system for decades. Earth is warming fast, and other planets, moons, asteroids and comets are not.
