How about between Anchorage and Fairbanks?
I care. It's friggin cold - we need to accelerate this.![]()
Don't you read what you post?~~~
Welcome aboard and good luck... they will read only the source and attempt to reject it for one reason or another... so... to perhaps at least catch their wandering eye and cause a reflexive gulp... from your link:
"The Arctic summer of 2014 is nearing an end. Overall, the rate of ice loss during August was near average. Regions of low concentration ice remain in the Beaufort and East Siberian seas that may yet melt out or compress by wind action. While the Northwest Passage continues to be clogged with ice and is unlikely to open, the Northern Sea Route along the Siberian coasts appears open except for some ice around Severnaya Zemlya. As the end of the southern winter draws closer, Antarctic sea ice extent remains higher than average.
...Sea ice extent in August 2014 averaged 6.22 million square kilometers (2.40 million square miles). This is 1.00 million square kilometers (386,000 square miles) below the 1981 to 2010 August average, but well above the 2012 August average of 4.71 million square kilometers (1.82 million square miles). Extent was below average throughout the Arctic except for a region in the Barents Sea, east of Svalbard. The ice edge continued to retreat north of the Laptev Sea, and is now within 5 degrees latitude of the North Pole...."

At the root of the scam is the acquired hatred of man and progress and the post industrial cornucopia of modern civilization. They would rather have the agricultural age of the labor of human backs rather than the modern era of machines and technology.
They would also rather have a King to bow to, but will be satisfied with a Commissar to tell them how to live their miserable lives.
The true burden of human freedom is just to much for them...
thanks for your Post...

Rub your nose in the graph, please.Using really big fonts and selectively highlighting a single, out of context phrase UD-Style does not improve your argument.
The very next sentence is:
In context we have had a long, slow shrinking of the ice, and now we have a significant increase in the ice in a short period of time.
Neither trend is at all significant in geologic time.
If the amount of increase had happened the other way you would be squawking about that. Amicus is pointing out the trend (for now) is not in the direction that your articles of faith insist it should be.
It is rude of him to enter your little chapel here and point out a temporary inconvenient truth.
You, personally have no interest in climate or science. You just like the subject because it cannot be proved or disproved and gives you something to feel all liberal about.
Rub your nose in the graph, please.
See the track for 2012. Notice how far away from the others it is. That is what is known as an outlier. You are treating an outlier as if it is the new normal. That is not scientific, it is simply dumb.

Alaska is rising, you twit. Here's a video for schoolkids you might understand.

Yet another illustration of the liberal left ignoring reality and being hoisted by its own petard... so to speak...
A couple things, eat your curds and whey, fey, I guess that means sea levels are not rising? Or only in one place...? ahem, water rather flows to the lowest point regardless.
Secondly, gee, there are no numbers in the text, I did not view the videos, but are you sure, to maintain the faith, that the rate of uplift is greater than your believe in the rise of the sea level?
Every part of North America that was under a glacier, is still rebounding and rising from fourteen thousand years ago...but, ya know, if sea levels were rising, it would happen everywhere, them bodies of water being somewhat connected, y'know?
You are preaching to your congregation of believers, so I expect neither you nor them to ever wake up and open your eyes; but to others, who seek truth, the more I expose your lies the more they see the whole thing is just a scam...
the oceans levels are not rising, the glaciers are not melting in any way other than they always have, there is no harm to the ozone layer, there is no shortage of fossil fuels...see fracking and natural gas to educate yourself, and....THERE IS NO MAN CAUSED GLOBAL WARMING! NONE!

The insurance industry just cut expected hurricane losses in HALF due to the slow start to the "season."
The cool thing about climate change is that worshippers interpret it both ways - so too few storms is also a "sign" of manmade environment destruction.
Isn't December 15th the last possible date for sweeping change or we're doomed?

I
m thinkin' that was 2912, the end of the world.
What you say is true, they lie both ways, but the defining characteristic of their faith is the, 'why', behind it.
The intellectual elite have never had a religious faith to lean upon, only their devious mentality to profit from government and education, which they do so very well.
For a wimpy little braniac to imagine himself dealing with global issues, my, oh, my, what a rush for such a little person.
Global warming, something of faith that they can believe in, has replaced the god they never had, and being new at the game, they overlooked a technically proficient demographic that flat called them out. Exposed the fraud, ecce bono, followed the money to the graft and corruption in government grants, subsidies and paid for professors...
These poor little people can't even keep t heir foodstamps or obamaphones in order, yet they think they can change the world.
off with their heads!

It appears that I need to take things to a different level.

Wouldn't a scientist make more money by being able to prove climate change isn't caused by man?

" Francis says it is premature to blame humans for these changes."

is she saying that the minimal changes to the climate are natural occurrences....
I think she hacked my compute as well... damn left wing thieves anyways...
ehahhh oh, that was Biden, or was it....
