Shouldn't there be a "news forum" for news. I don't come here for news, I have a dozen news services and a daily paper for that.

Shouldn't those with food problems be safe from food and drink discussion?

Why should I have to live with your safe place topics when Admin can isolate every single topic into a proper place with active enough moderation.

That risks offense if a thread title is deceptive. It is far better that Admin act to isolate potentially unsafe topics in their proper forums, where those who are prone to offense can have an additional layer of safety.

That might be acceptable, but in any interaction the possibility for danger arises unless the action takers (I would use actress and actor, but that might offend the CIS gendered and non-binary gendered) are careful to be absolutely inclusive in their recipe selections. i.e. You cannot give a recipe for Fish & Chips - that is primarily an English/Irish food and we know that those are White Places. Anything German is just plain out of the question. French recipes are OK, but not if you get them from Julia Child - way too American. A recipe for Shrimp Gumbo might be more proper - but nationality is now a race and some of nations without shrimp might take offense.

I would think discussion should be limited to the weather, but with any post indicating climate change being in any manner responsible for the weather being moved to the political area of the board.

I do think some of the proper Litizens might be able to come to grips with who may post what - so your idea may have merit.
