This is just not that bad (and I think the black thing is a pair of shoes).

I have two teenagers and I'm telling you: I can see floor here. The bathroom, while cluttered, doesn't appear filthy (although it's difficult to tell). I don't see any moldy food. The fact that she's using air freshener suggests she cares at least somewhat. On teen scale of 1 (meaning an OCD teen who probably needs help) to 10 (go back and look at the one with hot sauce in it), I would give this at most a 4 or 5. She could have the whole thing tidied up in under 30 min I bet.

These pictures remind me of a girlfriend from years ago. Post-college, pre-marriage. Back when we were all in small rentals. We were all just getting started in life. Space, including big closets, was an ill-afforded luxury. Anyway, she worked in retail fashion and was a clothes horse. Every thing she earned that wasn't spent on rent or food went to clothes.
