Claymore and Dagger Pt.2

Kate knew that Qira had a soft spot for her that he didn't have for anyone else. He had seen her at her worst and had worked along side her for a long time. He also held her life in his hands on a daily basis. They had formed a bond, and as he kissed her deeply while Kell pleasured Rissa, Kate could truly feel just what Qira felt about her.

Kate could hear Rissa's cries from the bed next to her as Kell had his moment, but Kate was soon letting out her own joyful noises as Qira's hands seemed to be absolutely everywhere at once.

Qira smiled to himself as he sought out all of Kate's sensitive places, nipping beneath her jaw as his fingers skimmed down her inner thighs. With a soft rumble, his shaft pressed to her folds and he took hold of her thigh to steady her before pressing slowly into her welcoming body. He was larger than Kell, but took care with Kate's petite form.

Kate let out a gasp as Qira pressed into her body, one hand clenching in the sheets beneath her and the other hand clenching Kell's fir tightly. Her husband's hand closed over her own as he continued to make Rissa cry and moan with his tongue. Kate held his hand tightly as Qira took special care not to hurt her as he finally sank himself to the hilt.

Qira's hips began slowly driving into her body, holding her own steady while he leaned down to kiss her once more. Qira had never dared to hope he'd have a chance to share a bed with Kate or Kell, and certainly not the same bed the same day. He had loved them both from fairly early on, and as the pair had made him irreplaceable and trusted him with not only their own lives, but their son's, he'd only grown to love them more. He had thought only Rissa would ever be welcomed to their chambers, and he had certainly never believed Kell might be interested in him the way Kate and Rissa were. Even if he was nearly silent, it was quite an occasion for the great Panther.

Kell soon followed Qira's example, sinking deep into Rissa's welcoming form from behind so she had the freedom to play with Kate at the same time. But he still kept Kate's hand, and smiled to himself as he felt Qira's arm drape around his waist.

"Once these ladies are tired out, you finish what you started," Kell muttered to Qira.

"By your command, Lord Protector," With murmured back, his soft golden gaze never leaving Kate though he couldn't help another smile at Kell's demands.

Kate's emerald eyes closed as Qira made love to her with firm strokes, his hand steadying her hips as he took care of her as he had always wanted to. Rissa leaned in and kissed Kate before she latched onto a hard nipple, suckling until their queen moaned in appreciation. All the while, she held Kell's hand, anchoring herself in reality as they all watched her so intently.

When she came, she was in tears. Happy tears, but overwhelmed none the less. She let out a soft cry, bucking up against Qira as he continued with his slow and measured strokes, never letting up even as she pulsed around him.

Qira growled softly as Kate tightened around him, watching her arch and moan on the bed. "That's it, eldere," he murmured with a smile, wiping her tears away as he slowed and kissed her once more. He drew back, knowing she probably wouldn't be able to take much more yet.

Kell watched Kate in between his powerful and quick thrusts into Rissa's body. Qira settled on the bed beside Kate, still hard as he waited patiently for Kell with an intense gaze.

Rissa gasped as Kell bent over her, pounding into her body with quick and powerful strokes. It was no secret that Kell wanted to finish what he had started with Qira and the excitement was making him bold. He gripped her hip tightly, the sounds of her climax soon sounding after Kate's. Rissa shook, gasping as Kell rode her though the most powerful parts of her orgasm.

"Just go. Enjoy him." Rissa panted, chuckling as she felt Kell pulling away.

Kell and Qira locked eyes, and it became clear that they were not just two men, but two beasts. As werefolk, they could stand a lot more rough housing and punishment, and it seemed they were ready to do so.

Qira rose and the gentleness Kate knew fell away for something much more primal. He seized Kell by the arms, growling as Kell put up a playful but futile fight. They ended up on the floor, Qira asserting complete dominance and plunging into Kell from behind. Kell bit back a snarl that turned into a groan, locked in place by the stronger Panther.

Rissa was soon gathering Kate into her arms, spooning against the other woman as they both watched Kell and Qira. Rissa was just as much a protector of Kate as Qira was, caring for her in any way that she possibly could.

"He's enjoying this, kitty kat. As much as a man can." Rissa murmured, gently stroking her hands over Kate's heated skin.

Kell was again the first to give in, reaching back a hand over his shoulder to dig into Qira's fur and letting out a sudden yelp of pleasure, his seed spilling on the floor. Much like Qira had made Kate do, Kell arched back against the Panther, holding on for dear life until Qira let loose with a soft grunt. He sat back on his knees, Kell against his chest as each heaved for breath and struggled to cool down. Qira's gaze turned back to Kate and Rissa, giving them a gentle smile as Kell sat back against him, completely in his care for the moment and utterly weak.

The four of them simply basked in the afterglow of what they had done for a long moment before anyone moved. Rissa was soon up, going to Qira to kiss him with a grin. She glanced to where Kell was trying to gather himself together as Qira's arm wrapped around her waist tightly.

"Go be with your mate." Rissa said softly, kissing Kell for good measure. "And if you don't love her well enough, Qira and I will have something to say about it."

Qira helped Kell to his feet, only for Kell to collapse back into bed by Kate, pulling her gently into his embrace with a kiss pressed to her neck.

Qira stood alongside Rissa, turning to steal another, longer kiss and let his forehead press to her own.

Kate hugged her wolf tightly as he welcomed her into his embrace. She was tired, but happy, still struggling with her own demons but well on the right track.

“I love you, eldere.” Kate whispered, nuzzling against his cheek while Qira and Rissa had their own little moment before retiring to Rissa’s rooms.

"I love you too, Kate," Kell murmured in return, glancing up as Qira pulled a blanket over them before retiring with Rissa.

Once in her own chambers, Rissa would find her mate scooping her up and kissing her like it would be his last chance. He was happy, excited, or at least as excited as the unerringly stoic Panther could be.

“He was Afraid you’d be upset.” Rissa murmured after Qira kissed her hotly, a smile on her lips as she touched his cheek and looked deeply into his golden eyes. “You make me smile, love.”

"He worries too much about what I think. I told you when we started out that you could be with them as much as you liked. But... I'm glad he came to get me," Qira murmured in his native tongue. He would always default to it, his English still rough, slow, and halting.

Qira settled them both into bed, letting out a quiet sigh as Rissa fit perfectly against him. "I love you. I love all three of you, but you're my favorite."

"You're my favorite too." Rissa said with a pleased grin as her panther held her against his side with a sigh. "And I know I want to spend my life with you."

They had long talked about their plans for the future. It had been mostly secret, whispered between one another in her private rooms at the castle. They had decided to make her home their base, spending a few days at a time there when he had leave from Kate's side. She was raising wounded drakes, giving them a life they wouldn't normally have had. Qira found a quiet hobby in helping her. They had also talked about children, struggling to come to an agreement on if they should be parents and when.

Qira had never put much stock in the future. As he'd explained to Rissa over time, the nature of his work meant that the only future planning he could really do was against enemies, not for his personal life. At any moment, he could be forced to travel long distances, fight, and be wounded or killed. He didn't believe that was the sort of uncertainty a child needed with a father. And while he had expressed some minor interest in being a parent, he kept his cards close to his chest as with all things and so even Rissa didn't really know what he wanted in life. He had admitted once they'd mated that he'd hoped she wouldn't choose him, for her own sake. But now that they were together, he tried not to pull away and he was as open as his very secretive life would allow, though still quiet as was his nature. As such, she really didn't know much about him at all. None of them did, save minor details of his history with Kell as both ally and enemy.

Rissa simply kissed her panther as he silently lay at her side, knowing that he had a lot of demons that he needed to work through to be truly happy. She would be right at his side every single step of the way, no matter what happened in their future.

"It's almost time to go gather the little prince." Rissa said softly, knowing that Qira had a soft spot for little Brogan. "If you can get him away from his grandparents, that is."

Qira nodded, soon rising to clean up and dress in a fresh outfit of all black as he always wore out of both habit and profession. Once his belts were secure and his usual arsenal hidden, he returned to Rissa to briefly gather her into his arms for another kiss before stepping silently into the keep halls in search of Julia and Brogan.

This mountain of a Panther was what Fiona would bump into only moments later as she rounded a corner, her head level with his huge shoulders. His hands caught her arms to steady her on reflex, though there was little danger of her falling.

"Lady Blackstone," his dark voice rumbled. She had seen this hulking shadow around Kate and the little prince, but never heard him speak and he always seemed to disappear without a trace. All she knew of him was that Kate called him Qira, and he spoke primarily Erygonian. In good light, the faint outline of Erygonian tattoo patterns could be seen in his fur, but just barely.

Fiona was startled to round the corner and suddenly a panther was there, steadying her by the shoulders as he murmured her name. It took her a moment to realize that it was Kate's bodyguard, the panther Qira as silent and mysterious a person as she had ever known.

"My lord." Fiona said with a slight nod of her head. "I should have watched where I was going. I do apologize."

She had been preparing to go for a ride with Invah while Sam took care of his own business. Dressed in her riding armor, Fiona could look imposing, but in front of the panther, she still looked insignificant.

"No need," he murmured. Seeing her armor, he thought to ask, slow and halting as his English was, but understandable, "I have heard... That the other Riders are seeing you as a leader for the time being. Maybe til the end of the war or beyond."

Fiona glanced up at the panther as he asked her about being the leader of the riders. She didn't know where he was getting that information or if it were so transparent that it was easy to see, but she actually chuckled.

"I suppose so. First they make me their leader and then I'm crowned queen of Inverness. Things are looking up for the homeless kit." She said with a shrug of her shoulders, still not sure what her role as leader of either truly entailed. "They are all welcome here, regardless of whether the war is still ongoing or not. Sam is in agreement that Inverness will be a haven to the dragons that need a space to heal and the riders that need a place to relax."

Qira remained perfectly stoic save a brief, tiny crack of a smile as she spoke of herself as the homeless kit whose luck had turned. "We all seem to be having better luck around this strange clan," he commented softly, his gaze drifting away briefly to something unknown. Once he refocused, he straightened slightly. "Kell has been meaning to talk to you. He would like to test the possibility of a stealth Rider for scouting and spying, and would like both your input on who to consider, and your permission."

Fiona knew in the instantly that Qira looked away and then back again that he had seen her protector. She was sure that they were well acquainted and as the protector of the Queen and Crowned Prince, it was Qira's job to see everything.

"I will speak with him in the morning. After my ride, Sam has plans. He won't tell me what they are, but they're plans none the less." Fiona said with a nod towards Qira. "They were taking little Brogan to see the drakes. I'm sure they're at the stables by now, if that's where you're heading."
