Yup...their insistence of putting super-hot 20-year-olds in their magazine each month definitely was their downfall. It wasn't that everyone could find the pics on the internet for free instead of paying for a subscription.

Expecting consumers to pay $5 per month for less than a dozen badly cropped photos and one poster ( of again, virtually the same woman over and over ) expedited the process.



I've subscribed to outfits like Met-Art because of the variety.

And there are about 50 other websites I would subscribe to before Playboy online.

It's also more convenient than wasting half of my life scavenging for free content on sites dishing up malware.

Money is not an issue, unless you are getting little in return.

I had a blessed childhood. Might have been poor as dirt and surrounded by miles of it out in the middle of nowhere, but I was hip deep in playmates.

No soggy issues in a plastic bag under a rock in a quarry for me.
