My ex-fiancee smoked when we met. It was one of those I knew right then I wanted to grow old with this woman kinda things and I made her a deal. I told her if she could go a year without smoking I'd buy her diamond earrings.

As it turned out she did quit, made it a year and got a nice pair (about $1000 from a Jewler I give all my business) of earrings AFTER she had broken up with me. I had to give them to her mom to give to her. I got to see them on her once when she came to my work to say goodby before she moved out of state. How nice of her huh? <ouch> still smarts after almost two years

I have never smoked. Never even tried it. My wife smoked for about thirty seconds in college, and never did it again. I have dated and kissed smokers. Not my favorite thing in the world.

I don't smoke but my partner does. Personally, I don't like kissing a smoker at all. The few times he's given them up, the kissing has been a lot better. He says he's going to quit again but I'm not holding my breath for it!

I haven't for a long time. I don't think it ever bothered me, but if I was a non-smoker it might have been a different story.

I wish I'd never started using tobacco, I can't think of anything beneficial about it.

Quit last year, but even when I smoked I was never without breath mints or gum. People were usually shocked to see me with a cigarette.

I don't smoke -- I tried a clove once but the sweet taste it left on my lips was not enough to negate all the nasty ass shit I could feel happening to my body as I inhaled.

My significant other is even more anti-smoking than I am, so it doubly sucks for him that everyone in his immediate family smokes.

I think kissing a smoker is fucking nasty; the taste does absolutely nothing to enhance the experience, and in fact detracts from it. Neither gum nor breath spray nor a tongue scraper can save the breath and taste of a smoker. I think of it the same way as if I were to wrap my lips around and shove my tongue down an exhaust pipe.

I have kissed two smokers, and both times it was disgusting and humiliating (humiliating for reasons other than their being smokers which I won't expound here).
