I spent the day with a friend making cookies. Butter sugar cookies with frosting.

Earlier today we made Christmas ornaments out of flour and whatnot, those flour-clay ornaments.

Those are kind of cookies. I imagine one could eat them if they had to.

i'm unsure of the proper name, but in my family we have these waffle cookies that are very sweet, very vanilla and very delicious that we call french cookies. back when i was a kid i could eat pounds of the damned things.

and google says they're (likely)called gaulettes. i will never retain that, but there you go.
