I paid attention through the entire election. Which is why you can’t offer up any rebuttal to what I said.

Was able to listen to a couple of podcasts at work today. A couple or three thoughts and tidbits I picked up from that haven’t been touched on.

Pres Trump’s ground game. This hasn’t been talked about much. First off, he outsourced almost all of this and didn’t have hands on oversight. Unusual for him and hopefully a harbinger of how he’ll govern this go around.

His internal polling was spot on. They also went with gut feelings on ads. Specifically the “Kamala is for They/THem, President Trump is for YOU”. For those not familiar, this was a couple of ads aired during football games and I think the World Series. They featured a left wing talk show group talking about our tax money going to sex change operations. The ads have the group roundly criticizing the move. The hosts of the podcast said after those aired, they saw a 3% jump in their internal polls. The Republican king makers were agains this ad. Pres Trump’s inner circle went with their gut. They reaped the rewards.

As an aside, the host of the podcast is friends with a guy (not named) who does color commentary for college football games. He is friends with Bill Clinton (the commentator), and in conversations with Bill, he mentioned the ads. He said he told Kamala’s handlers “they better answer that.” They ignored probably the best campaigner and “gut” feeling guy that the dems have ever had. He told the commentator “they’re going to lose.” Even Bill saw the writing on the wall.
