For the last six years, I've been coaching the girl's softball team at the local high school. It's a purely volunteer position, and it takes up a lot of my time, but there are certain perks. There's something about watching budding young ladies running around in tight shorts and clinging tee shirts....
But that's not the biggest perk. Every year I get to pick a senior girl to be team captain. It's a very prestigious position. They'll do anything to earn it. And since most of the senior girls are over 18, I let them....
